myself Dr.Munish Mehra,
i deposited a citibank cheque no. 515532 amounting 1240/- on 21/9/2011 in Phase 7 Mohali,Punjab. The name mentioned in the cheque was Dr.Munish and my name as per with the bank in Munish. as the money wasnt transferred into my account so i went after 1 month to that branch. They said that due to name mismatch the cheque has not been encashed. you have to consult your home branch. So. i went to shimla(My home branch) where they refused saying that there are no details of the cheque. I again went to mohali branch where they said that they will request to courier the cheque to mohali branch but all in vain...
Kindly help me out in this issue
