I have a bank account in SBI Moti Nagar. I went to the bank, to open a PPF account on Saturday, Sept 03, 2011. The manager was not present on his desk. When requested to review/attest my form, he got furious, and made me sit for almost 30 minutes for no reason. After that he made me fill the same form 3 times, still he was not satisfied with the signature. He also said that the photo copy of my Election card does not match with the original, and asked for a new copy 2 times. The staff of SBI Moti Nagar branch is very difficult to deal with. My PPF account form is still not submitted and the public dealing time was over.
Meanwhile, an agent came by to get the account open with some token money (bribe) given to him. I refused to do so, and thus all this mess.
Myself and my 4 other family members have a bank account in the same branch. It has been a regularity that whenever we go to bank, no matter with what service request their mis-conduct has been consistent.
Please suggest what can be done for such lax, lazy and miss-behavior of the SBI, Moti Nagar branch staff.
