    Angry HDFC Collection agents

    please advsie as i have credit card of HDFC and after repeated requests for settlement or insatllment wise payment
    the bank charged with interest rate making the amount more and difficult for me to pay so
    for last 4months i stopped their min amount payment also and advised them for settlement
    however noone as such called from HDFC banka nd now somehow their collection agent they got my contact details and calling my collegues and relatives and abusing them .
    since they got my numebrs from some third party i want to complain against them for mentally harassing my realtives
    please advsie what can be doen such cases
    the amount is now gone upto 630000 and initailly it was 50000 as my credit limit
    its not like i havent made payments i have used it for 3 years and now being a custmer i requested them to frstly make payments into installements for fixed time or do settlement
    but their has been no such inititative taken from banks side and now they are advising collection agents to to abuse my relatives not even me

    You can call on the Police Helpline, if the Credit Card Collection agents are harassing you.

    Default Fraud Charges

    Hello Sir,

    I have applied for a job for the position of (Insurance Provider Customer care)in on 19th June,2009. According to

    policy, they are going to charge me Rs. 1000/- for training of 3 days and they have also collected Graduation

    certificate and 8 photographs. For receiving the money and documents, Mr. Rohit has came and collect the

    money Rs( 2000 ) for two applications and documents for both on 20th June, 2009.

    He informed that a zero balance account will be opened with HDFC as you are going to be HDFC employee and

    also get a "Debit Cum ATM card".

    According to policy we are going to be paid Rs. 5000/- per month + 40% commission on every case.
    It was part time job and we will get call from the customers and they will put there query regarding the

    Insurance. Company will provide a mobile or land-line phone for that.

    Mr. Rohit promised us that we will receive a confirmation call from HDFC within three days.
    I have never received any call from them and after 10 days I try to contact them and I contacted to Mr. Deepak

    who is working in (Multan Nagar) and I asked him about the job I have applied for. First of he informed me that

    there is no such policy which was informed to us and then I asked him for the REFUND for both the application,

    then he referred me to Mr. Rakesh who is Team Leader of Mr. Deepak. I have contacted him and explains the

    same that there is no such policy and I again put a request for the REFUND. Then he want to meet me, I have

    meet to Mr. Rakesh on 2nd July at HDFC Bank B-28 , Community Center Janakpuri, and after meeting he

    informed that there is no application by me and Mr. Rakesh referred me to contact Mr. Atul who is in-charge at

    the Center of Multan Nagar. In meeting I have explained him everything and ask for the refund. he ensures me

    that I will certainly get refund within few days. He promised refund of Refund of Rs. 2000/- on 2nd July and after

    that I have contacted him but most of the time he never pics up the phone or assure me that he is going to GIVE

    ME CALL BACK JUST AFTER 2 MINUTES. And he never did that, He continuously telling me that wait for some

    more days to get the refund. And till today ( 25th of July, 2009) I have not received my money back.

    Please give me some guidance to whom should I contact to get the refund. I am a poor person and I can't afford

    such fraud charges.

    Thumbs down ICICI credit card problem

    I am holding 2 ICICI credit cards for 4 years now. Due to online fraud I had requested to temporarily block one credit card in 2006. It was never re-activated by me as I am holding another credit card.
    On Dec 27 I recieved letter from Mr. Vinayak Prasad, head of ICICI credit cards that due security reasons he was blocking my credit card and no transaction would be allowed on the credit card. I was panicked as there is a general recession and there are more frauds happening. I accepted the blocking and deactivation of the card. However bills were still coming, I rang up customer service and they ensured me that the card was blocked. I have paid charges upto the end of Jan 09. But bills are still coming, and I kept on calling customer service (more than 30 phone calls) and each time they answer the easiest answer, even without verifying anything.
    From Feb 09, I stopped paying the bills, but they were debiting from my savings account hence I starved funds in my account. They started charging heavily, and were debiting 55 rupees from the account without any authorization. I closed the savings account
    I have made more than 30 phone calls, and more than 10 e-mails to customer care.
    Now they say that Mr. Vinayak Prasad, was refering to the first credit card which was already blocked, but the number mentioned in the letter corresponds more to the second credit card.
    I personally went to meet ICICI at Andheri Kurla road, Andheri (E), I met a customer care officer, he heard my case but told me that because his manager was absent no decision could be taken, but he will contact me on my mobile. He took my mobile number but never called me to date.
    Now to make settlement, they are charging 8500 rupees and more. They say that though the card was blocked, MTNL charges were being debited from the card, as I have not instructed them to stop it. But I told them that the card was blocked, and no charges should come to the card. They had no reply.
    Now they say not to argue but to pay 8500 immediately and make settle or they will keep on charging non payment.
    The information provided by ICICI is contradictory, and I feel I am made to pay for all the mistakes they have made.
    I want experts opinion whether to pay and make a settlement or to stop payment, most is for the six months of mismanagement by ICICI. Is ICICI not accountable for its actions ?
    Giving wrong information to customers is a 'sin' as far as customer service is concerned. Not following customer instructions is also a serious fault
    ICICI has committed many such faults, but is not willing to accept it, and insists on payment for settlement.
    Kindly advise and I am willing to provide more details as necessary.

    Default HDFC keep my money on hold and they are not ready to relese it

    I am in big truble coz of HDFC bank. they kept my money 16000 plus on hold(I have bank account with them)becouse of credit card issue. I have placed a request for a settlement with the credit card on 6th of june 2010, but they didnt called me. on 27 June i got a call from HDFC that I will have to make a min amt due only after they will consider my request for settlement. I was listen them and did the payment of 2600rs. till the date I have never received a call from back and that's why I stopped making the payment. All of a sudden they block my account and my money without even prior notice. I am running in big financial crash that's the reason I wanted to close my card and the settlement.. please help me by giving me right advise what can be done to get my money back.
