Dear Sir,
Despite as many as ten reminders sent to SBI Bank Sector-37 and to
the D.G.M. SBI Bank Mumbai I have lost all of my hopes and is forced
to complaint about the mishappening happened to me. Is there any one
who can help me getting my own amount of Rs.25000 back from the Bank?
I am a customer of State Bank Of India , branch at
Sector 37- B Chandigarh having a saving bank account no.300 4872 4822
and ATM cum Debit Card No. 622 0180 6597 0005 4052
But an astonishing thing happened on Friday, the 3rd of July, around
8.50 a.m. When I went to an ATM of HDFC Bank Ltd located at SCO
224-225, Sector - 40 D Market, Chandigarh , for withdrawal of money.
As the process is, I tried to withdraw Rs.25,000/- ( Twenty Five
Thousand) from the ATM .Before the process could be completed, a
dialogue box appeared on the screen showing “ equipment failure” and
the said amount did not come out of the machine.
When I checked the balance from SBI ATM and was shocked to know that
the said amount of Rs. 25,000/- was already debited from my saving
account without getting any successful transaction done at the HDFC
BANK ATM.
As soon as HDFC Bank branch opened at 9.30 A.M. I brought it into the
notice of the Manager and he advised me to contact Mr. Anshul at SCO
1070-71, Sector-22 B ( ATM coordinator of HDFC Bank) I contacted the
person immediately and he advised me to contact my own bank in this
regard. He also e mailed me about all this( the copy of the is given
below)
After that I had gone through the advised process. And met Mr. Tara of
SBI Bank Sector-37 Chandigarh.He advised to check my account after 24
Hours, because many times entry of the debited amount rectified by
itself and if it is rectified till then , I would be required to
compaint about all this in writing. After checking the account on the
next morning, when there was not any positive response, I made a
written complaint in SBI Bank Sector-37 Chandigarh.
Will you please be kind enough in helping me in getting the amount
credited back to my saving account?

Dear All/Mukt singh
As per telecon with customer telephone with we advised him to follow
the below mentioned process
Submit a complaint / dispute letter with the Issuing Bank [i.e., State
Bank of India Branch where you hold the savings bank account]
The Issuing Bank will raise a Chargeback dispute / Query on us [HDFC
Bank] seeking the disputed transaction status.
If the transaction stands invalid as per your claim, the funds will be
returned to Issuing bank, which would be credited to your account by
your respective Bank, Following this process only you will recover the
disputed amount
