Hi,

I hold a locker at ICICI Bank Green Park New Delhi for last 5 years. For
that in Nov 2003 i had opened a fixed deposit of Rs 15000/- which has been
garnering interest.
The rental was Rs 1500/- plus tax which has been been smoothly deducted for
last 5 years from my Bathinda ICICI Account.

On 19th Nov 2008, Rs 3500/- + Tax was deducted without any intimation.

I have been informed by ICICI that locker rent has been increased to Rs
3500/- from 15th aug 2008.

Please suggest what i can do.

I have checked on the internet that Consumer Protection Act CPA 1986 Section
2(1)(c)(iii), 14(1)(d) Bank - locker Enhancement of Rent
cannot be done without intimation.
