ICICI mischarging interest charges and late payment fee i made a payment of Rs. 20010 for my Feb ICICI credit card bill using an HDFC cheque. The same got cleared from HDFC the same month.
While ICICI said it didn't receive any amount and charged me late payment fee and interest charges. I brought the issue to there attention a couple of times but nothing helped.
I was made to fax them my HDFC statement 3 times, and finally they credited the amount in May. Meanwhile, for the following months, i made my payments minus the late fee and interest levied. ICICI kept on adding the late fees and interest charges.
Today the addition amount stands on me @ about Rs. 5000 !!
What should be done?

Hello,
Send a written notice to the CMD of ICICI via registered post, mention all the details in it also attache the photo copy of your bank statement, and ask them to refund the interest and late charges.
