    Post Fradulent transaction in HDFC bank Credit card

    Sir,

    I am having an HDFC Bank credit card which I have been using for more than a year.
    Yesterday (31 May 2011), I recieved SMS messages saying that there has been 3 online transactions in my card, while the card was safe with me.

    The merchant sites are Travelport GDS, Cheaptickets.com and Travel Insurance policy and the total amount is Rs. 30,941/- Immediately I registered a complaint with the customer care and they blocked the card. They are saying that they require 45-60 days for coducting the enquiry. I have read about people who had to pay the amount during this enquiry period with the ineterest accrued. Is there any way to speed up the enquiry so that issue can be resolved in a reasonable time.

    Also, pls advise how to go about this. Should I file an FIR with police or should I approach cyber cell?
