    Default Misleading Information About Rewards Point by HDFC Bank Credit Card

    I am holding HDFC Bank Credit Card and have accumulated 7500+ points. HDFC changed the redeem plan last year, which resulted in loss to the customers. (e.g.Rs. 500/- gift voucher which was available for 1080 points will now be redeemed at 2300 points.)
    HDFC Bank should have informed the customer that the new redeem plan is not going to be beneficial to the customer, especially for those who accumulated points for a long time.
    HDFC Bank's version is they kept customer informed that they are going to change the plan shortly. It does not indicate, whether it going to be good or bad for customers.
    My request to HDFC Bank was to redeem points, whatever accumulated at the time of change of plan, as per old redeem plan.
    It is unfortunate that HDFC Bank has refused to blink.
    If you are also one of such a unfortunate customer, pls reply.

    Hello, this is a simple thing given gravity of this rewards point game. your 7500 points has hardly any Rs meaning. May be a real buying power of 7500points, is Rs.2000 or so. I know how much spending you must have done to get this 7500. (indeed, i do have similar points with HDFC) Bit i feel, it's just a gimmick these bank play. Don't get carried away with these games.

    I want to you tell you another incident I had with HDFC Bank. I have been using net banking facility over 10years. Recently, my net banking was was fraudulently used and 21003/- was looted. HDFC Bank simply raised their hands saying it's my fault that I have probably shared the info with somebody.

    Please help me in reaching this message to all your known circle so that 1 day HDFC bank will realize their responsibility.
