I am using an ICICI Credit Card with the following details from 2005 onwards.
Last January onwards, it was written in my monthly statement that the reward points are transferred to the IMINT account. Then I contacted the customer care and they gave me the IMINT account number and IMINT customer care number.
I called the IMINT care many times in the last five months, every time they gave the reply “you will get the card within one month”. On April 10th again I called the IMINT customer care and they told that I will get the card within 1 week. But till today I didn’t got the IMINT card.
I called ICICI customer care and received a response ” it is not their responsibility once the points are transferred to the IMINT card they can’t do anything .And told me to contact IMINT care”. Is this what ICICI Credit Card Customer Care supposed to do?
I was using the same credit card from the last 4 years, and before introducing this IMINT I never had a problem in redeeming my reward points. And I never asked for such a card from icici credit card people.
I filed a complaint with ICICI bank about the non availability of card and they did some investigation. However they have again send the mail saying , now it is in the I-MINT section so I have to contact I mint people.
As I’m tired of calling the IMINT care, then I contacted ICICI credit Card section asked them “either to cancel the I-mint points, or transfer my old points back into my ICICI Credit Card account”. But ICICI customer care called me on 20th May and make a conference call with I-Mint section, the –Mint people again gave the assurance that “I will get the I-mint card within 10 working days”.
I contacted the ICICI customer care again on 8th june and got the reply “We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused and look forward to your co-operation in the interim. We do not have access to escalate any the case pertains to your I-mint account from our end. Hence, we would suggest you to wait for the stipulated time which is provided by the I-mint.”
There are three issues
1) ICICI Bank never informed or asked me before transferring the points to I-MINT.
2) As I do not know the I-MINT people, it is ICICI’s responsibility to take action on it.
3) Last 6 months I am being tortured saying “you will get I-mint card within 10 days/1 month and issuing wrong courier number/ wrong complaint number/ and wasting my time and money on phone calls”.
Till date the mail are being routed through their loops & ICICIBANK says" It is I-MINT" you talk with them whereas I-MINT says you will get it this week \next week.
Anyone WHO faced such problem pl help how to come out?
