No notification from HDFC bank on AQB deductions

    Thumbs down No notification from HDFC bank on AQB deductions

    I would like to submit this complaint against HDFC bank for no notification either on mobile sms or call email letter. I had already registered a complaint with HDFC but there is no proper respnse the complaint is not yet resolved and once again they deducted my account for non maintence . At the time of opening the ac it was told to maintain 2500/- in the ac but suddenly they changed it to 10000/- without any notifications.

    mum207183 is the complaint nos.

    Please response HDFC for your unfair behaviour.

    Dear Mr Brijesh,

    With effect from April 1, 2010, the minimum balance requirement for savings accounts in urban areas was revised to Rs 10,000. Any customer failing to maintain this balance is liable to pay the AQB charges.

    Please note that in accordance to regulatory guidelines we have informed all customers regarding this revision prior to April 1st, 2010 vide the following communication channels:

    • Message in the account statement (physical and email)

    • Notice at the Branches/ATMs/Offsite ATMs

    • Message on the website
