Default Paypal to ICICI India Money Transfer

I was able to register my ICICI Bank account through Paypal. I recently tried to transfer amount from Paypal to my ICICI Bank Account in India. After 5 working days or so, I found that the transfer failed. As a result I lost nearly $80 for two times currency conversion and $5 fee for the transfer fail.

Q1. Why did the transfer fail if I could register the same Bank Account in Paypal?
Q2. Whom should I ask for the total $85 claim?

Both Paypal and ICICI are blaming each other.

Q3. Let me know as to what needs to be done?

None of the bank accept paypal transfer, 98% of the people working in bank or call center(bank) do not known what is paypal.

I heard that ICICI, Axis, HDFC bank are not supporting Paypal. They had withdrawal their partnership with Paypal.
Upto my knowledge, Only HSBC is supporting Paypal transfers.

    Hi Guys,
    Answering my own questions..........

Q1. Why did the transfer fail if I could register the same Bank Account in Paypal?
The Bank-Branch Code was not the same as my BankBranch Code. This needs to be correct. I had this wrong, so I lost I suppose.

When I corrected this, the transaction happened to the same ICICI bank account. The currency exchange was as per the Paypal converter.

Q2. Whom should I ask for the total $85 claim?
No one can pay me I suppose

Q3. Let me know as to what needs to be done?
Nothing could be done. Nice way for Banks or Financial institutions to earn their living.

    thks for all your support.............
