Hi,

I am the customer of CITIBANK Credit Card.
I got a call from Citibank on 17th March,in which they said that they are giving me a new credit card which has more credit limit than previous one. This request was not made by me.

They have changed my address and e-mail id with out my notice and had send the new credit card of extended limit on that changed address. And transactions were made on that particular card.
Also, after couple of days, I have received a letter from CITIBANK that your address has been changed from 17th March, which was never requested from my end. And now the transaction amount is expected from me for the card which was never delivered to me.
I have called Customer care many times for this issue and a CITIBANK investigation officer from Risk Management and Fraud Control unit have come to my house in Pune. He has taken xerox of my id proof (PAN card).

No payments were due on my original credit card. This was confirmed by CITIBANK officials only.
And now I got a mail from CITIBANK saying that you have to pay all the outstanding amount from the new card which I never recieved.


Kindly help me out in this case as CITIBANK is not helping me on this issue and they have put the entire fault on me.

My name is Pallavi. I am a lawyer by profession. I also have a problem with Citibank. Some recovery agent calls me from TCS e-serve telling me that i had some Citibank card in my name issued in 2006. This guy irritates me as well as my family. I keep telling them that i have never got a credit card still they keep calling and asking for balance. I fail to understand why they dnt investigate properly. They do all kind of crap and then blame others. I had lost my wallet bk then which had certain documents. it might be that someone misused the docs. So i tell the agent same thing and ask to temme what all docs were used. This guy told me to visit there office not Citibank but the call center. I fail to understand why unnecessarily they trouble people. They dnt help and expect me to come down and help them. They keep sending stupid notices and on top of it they tell me that they will put my name CIBIL. This is totally crap. Can u temme how to proceed.

i had citi bank credit card and was lost, on 12th of this month and i realized yesterday while checking online, and sombody made many transaction amounting upto 35000.00, immidiately i blocked the card and submitted citibank CMD form, also i have registered a police complaint.
questions..
1. how this case i need to handle to get rid of this 35K?
2. can police will be able to help to catch that culprit?
3. can bank will be able to catch the culprit?

My friend. What were u doing for such a long time. U should have blocked the card that time only when u lost it. How can u prove that the transactions have not been made by you.

I have paid 30,000 rs to the bank before I converted the amount to the Loan, I have paid almost 10 installments which makes the paid amount to be 80,000 rs and still I have 75,000 rs due on my account. I am confident that I have not spent an amount of 155000rs from my Credit Card. Kindly Check the details and if it is possible please send me the statement of total usage of my Credit Card.
I am ready to pay the total amount spent through credit card and the interest on it however the charge which is due on my card is about double the usage charges and this is not acceptable.
Kindly let guide me what amount do I need to pay on addition to my usage charges so that I can pay it and get the debt completed.

I am Madhu Sharma form Delhi. I have been using credit citi hutch card & number is 5546197026547000. I have cleared all the dues & settlements on 2007 & not used the same card till date. But was surprised to know that my card was in civil. I have got the settlement letter sent form bank side with & i have cleared the same due on specifies date. So please look into this as to why your bank has not provided NOC & not withdrawn it from civil. This is not acceptable on the part of the one of the best bank “CITI Bank” in India. I have high regards for your bank & will don’t want to change my thinking in near future.
