    Hi,

    Recently I moved to Singapore and required my chequebook as I had to give to another bank to take home loan. I was short of three cheques. That was one month before I moved to Singapore. After 15 days of request, when I did not receive my chequebook, I called up customer care. The said that since I had raised the request through nternet Banking, they cannot access my request status!!!! After multiple calls, I found out that they had sent it to my residence address and since I was in office, it was sent back to the branch. Since my acount was in a bank which was far off from my residence, I requested them to send it to my nearest branch. They agreed to do that. But that did not happen till I moved to Sinapore. Again I followed up with the branch and asked them that I need my chequebook urgently please let me know whether it can be sent to my Singapore address or if somebody can collect it from the branch with my authority letter. But no reponse for a long time. When I escalated my service request to Level 3 but nothing happened, One lady and a senior branch manager finally mailed me that they will send it to my Singapore address. Finally I took a sigh of relief. But no!!!! That was not all.... I got another call from the bank. I was told that since my chequebook has been with the branch for more than 21 days it has been destroyed. I was clueless. In the meantime my pay order was cancelled by the bank which had approved my loan. I had raised the request on 20thMAr and today is 9th May and now I have lost all hope. The builder will cancel my allocation. and I will lose a lot of money(forget the processing charge and other expenses incurred in applying for loan).

    Highly irrresponsible behaviour by the senior officials of ICICI bank. Really disappointed. CAn somebody help in gettig the money I lost or getting my chequebook delivered within a week as this is the max time I can ask for getting the pay order revived.

    Angry Icici looting methods

    I have an ICICI A/c No. 004801029396 for the last 8 years. Recently I have received a letter for ICICI asking for documents like latest address and photo identification, which I have submitted promptly. The executive informed that my salaried account is going to be converted into Savings Account and when I inquired about any charges, if I am not maintaining 10, she said, there won't be any such charges. But today, when I saw a QAB charges in my account, I thought that was OUTRAGEOUS AND RIDICULOUS when it comes to handing a customer of ICICI.

    It's nothing but, LOOTING people. Is this the best idea ICICI has come out to makeup the losses? By looting people? I mean, c'mon Rs. 912/- for not maintaining 10,000/- in my amount. They have proved how unethical they can be and DIRTY ROGUES.

    Because of your IDIOTIC act, I have decided to cancel my all accounts with ICICI and go for other banks, who are more reliable in what they say and definitely not like ICICI blood sucking methods.

    My dear mindless Chairman & Managing Director, ICICI Bank, I am not sure which IDIOT suggested this MINDLESS method to levy unrealistic and unethical charges on ICICI customers. If you have brain and if that is working properly, slap that fellow who told you this and slap yourselves for implementing this modes of operandi. By doing this, not only you are axing your customers but also, your future.

    ICICI has a bad reputation for it’s own reasons. I don’t have to tell you about that. But, you need to know and understand that the base of your entire ICICI banking system is a tinted glass, dependent on GENERAL PUBLIC.
    I see and hear the breaking sound clearly, based on grievances of customers. Surprisingly, you couldn’t or I would say, wouldn’t bother to hear the sound.

    That is why people say ICICI lost 1000 crores. I am sure they have reason to say it.

    I hope and pray people learn from our experiences.

    Post for return the amount of Rs. 74,250/- with 12 % interest to Tripty Drinks Pvt. Ltd

    Earlier we submitted our grievances on dated 11.01.10 through writing regarding the matter & many times make discussion with the staff of ICICI Bank, but till today matter is pending.
    As you required, it is submitted before you the Demand Draft number 120114 of Rs. 74,250/- dated 14.01.10 for the cancellation & reissue of pay order in favour of Tripty Drinks Pvt. Ltd, Jagatpur,CTC (Bank- Oriental Bank Of Commerce), A/C no-02284010000150.
    We requested you kindly return the amount of Rs. 74,250/- with 12 % interest to Tripty Drinks Pvt. Ltd, Jagatpur,CTC (Presently known as SMV Beverages Pvt. Ltd.) which is taken by ICICI Bank Ltd for giving to Geneva Software Technologies,which is no more exists.

    So kindly cancel the cheque & make a pay order in favour of Tripty Drinks Pvt. Ltd., who issue the cheque & the amount originally belongs to.

    Hence, We request you please repay the the amount of Rs. 74,250/- with 12 % interest within 15 days of receipt of this notice failing which the matter will forwarded to take shelter in court of law for realization of the amount and you will be liable for cost of the litigation.

    why should this bank been taking people's money with out reasons, this is why i don't like working in the bank because everything about them is not good to me.

    please let this ICICI Bank returns people's money or i will help them to tell all there customers what they are doing or they should proved this people wrong that what they are saying is wrong by giving them reasons why it been like that.

    am i correct !!!!!!!?

    Default Collection Agencies troubling for the card which I never received

    Dear Sir
    With full respect I beg to say that I am getting Threatning calls from Collection Department for the ICICI EMI Card No.4477587537965008 which I dont owe, whenever I called customer care to confirm the details of this card they ask me to verify my Date of Birth which is 21-02-1980 but they say it is not matching but rest of all information matches. I told them that lots of people came to collect the card papers so might be any agent from 3rd parties have missused it because I never received this card but according to them I have made a payment from my cheques so I have a doubt that when I came to Delhi I was living with few colleagues of my previous company so they might have misused, now they are not in contact for last 2.5 years.
    Please help me Sir, its not my card I have never received it. Please help me, I talked to several people in ICICI bank and collection agenices but there is no help from anywhere, I am very depressed.

    Default ICICI Bank loots account holders

    I am senior citizen holding SB account in ICICI Bank Ghatkopar west Branch. I also hold FD account for monthly interest for maintaenance. I had a FD at 7.75% Interst for last 2 years. When recently rate raised to 9% I approached bank for revision. They advised me to close account and reopen. Messing of account started there. First print out of FD receipt never had Nominee name. On query Manager told me all features of old FD will be uploaded by system, when it updates the ledger. I beleived the manager. After one month interest was not credited at all. I had to ring Customer care 4 times to get a complaint Number. Even after 4 days nothing happened. Online complaints are all blocked by ICICI so that no body can lodge complaint. I hunted for senior officers; E mail ID and wrote to him as Zonal head, for redressal. In haste branch prepared a DD and tried to post it to my home address so as to cover their lapse. They tried to tell me that I had closed the FD and I did not tick this tick that, as if the oficers of the banks are not expected to inform the left over parts if any, if monthly interest as credited on closed FD, under Same Customer ID, also ispite of FORM 15 G submitted with earlier FD. TDS was cut for this renewed FD, though the interest on FD was less than 10,000/- as per law. ICICI staff considered closed FD interest for this but not the form 15G for that. Inexperied idiots, but pity was management never had guts correct this blunder. They are giving round about replies to cover up this lapses. Now I am seriously thinking of shifting funds to Nationalised bank and close this account. I warn vary persons not to open any dealing with ICICI bank, they are cheaters. I also want to approach Ambudsman for redressal, but so called grievence tree matrix is not displayed on ICICI Bank site, contrary to RBI guidelines. I intend write to RBI about this high handedness of Bank and closure of greivence channel

    Default Worst NRI service from ICICI bank

    I recently applied for a NRE account on Jan 10 2011. I submitted all the relevant documents through DHL courier. As part of this, they requested me to convert my resident account to NRO.
    I have submitted an application for that as well. I got an email telling that my account is open and active on Jan 17 2011. Till date, i haven't received any communication from ICICI bank regarding my NRE account details. They were suppose to send me a new debit card for my NRO account. Even after giving all the documents and my account is active, i don;t know any other details including my account number.

    I have been with ICICI for the past 7 years and i have never been through such a frustrating time all these years. EVery time i call up customer service, i get a different response and none of them makes sense. I have called almost 25 times and raised 3 SR's till now...Not sure what else i can do. Some body called Milan helped me in opening the account and am not able to reach him as well.

    Is there any other grievance forum where i can report this? I am not able to make any online transactions and this is frustrating me for the past 6 weeks. Please look into this or let me know a contact who can help me on this.

    Default QAB charges debited to my account

    I am the a/c holder of ICICI Bank from last 4 years, I am having an account and ICICI repeatedly debiting my account without any intimation. They have started charging Rs.827 under this category (QABChgs). I am not aware what type of charges are these. They never informed me regarding these charges either by Email or by Letter. Who has given right to ICICI bank to deduct the money without informing us? Because we kept the money in Bank that does not give right to this Bank that they can do anything whatever they want.

    There should be some formal process for doing all these things. I want my money to be credited in my a/c which they have deducted thrice from my a/c.

    Unhappy ICICI bank customer care person cheated and charged check book charges

    I am having zero balance account in ICICI, and just before 3 months i went to hitech city hyderbad branch and asked about check book need to request for my account, the customer care executive told me that i can order more than one if i did not took any check book in previous consequtive months, so i just ordered two books ( instead of ordering one at a time, just ordered two by the advice from ICICI people ) afther that i got the check books and after 3 months i was realized that they were charged me 35 Rs for additional check book charge.
    Then i went to bank and just asked why was charges, they said submit a request to revert chanages, i have submitted my letter of request for reversal of that amount.
    Now even after 3 more months, they did not reverted the charges.

    See how ICICI people cheat people even for 35 Rs.

    I am a victim of a cash fraud conducted by the Mumbai/Thane based following individuals. The entire story is appended below for your immediate action through appropriate chennels and my request to get my money refunded from the fraudsters:-

    Complete History of the Case:-

    That I have been cheated to the tune of Rs. 2.35 Lacs by the above noted Four ICICI Bank Account Holders by plotting a e-lottery prize which is a scam. The person who interacted with me introduced himself as Mr. Mark David and had used the mobile Nos. (1) +9833063882 and (2) +9920324748 and land No. 022-65386778, while he remained in touch with me.

    All the payments have affected through ICICI Bank Branch Pathankot (Punjab), the scanned copies of Pay-In-Slips are attached herewith for ready reference. When I come to know the evil tactics of the above fraudsters, I stopped paying and reported the matter to CBI, Branch Colaba, Mumbai who forwarded my case to Jt. Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime Investigation Cell, Mumbai but the Cyber Crime Cell had not taken any action in investigating the case so far, the reason behind is best known to them. When I approached to Jt. Commissioner's Office, Mumbai, they told me that there is a jurisdiction problem and this case should be routed to us through Govt. of India Public Grievance, asking us to investigate the captioned case. Since this is Cyber Crime and the Cyber Crimes are committed over the Internet across States and Countries and this issue of Jurisdiction is no way.

    I have also taken up the matter with ICICI Bank Customer Care Head at Hyderabad (Mrs. Chanchal Srivastav) through email. She replied me that they have registered departmental complaint and advised me to approach the Cyber Crime Cell for registering the complaint and investigate the same.

    There is a comment on the matter that this is prime responsibility on the part of ICICI Bank to get this case investigated at their end also and refund the money to me because I met the Branch Manager of ICICI Bank Pathankot (Punjab) and discussed the matter in detail. He told me that all these accounts may be opened on fake Id proofs. If the said accounts have been opened on the fake Ids then it is sole responsibility of the concerned ICICI Bank Branch Managers to refund the money immediately as to why they have opened the said accounts on fake Id proofs. They must have been connivance with the Fraudsters or they must have been party to the said crime. For example suppose if a bank opens the accounts on fake id proofs and the account holders by chance succeeded in receiving a heavy amount from the concerned bank as Loan and disappears, then how the recovers his own amount from the fraudsters. Hence a Criminal case may also be initiated against the concerned Branch Managers of ICICI Bank.

    Keeping view of the above, it is the responsibility of the concerned bank Branch Head either to recover the amount involved from the above said fraudsters or refund the Rs. 234500/- along with interest accrued on it.

    It is therefore very humbly requested to please look into the matter very seriously and initiate immediate steps in forwarding this case to the appropriate authorities of Maharashtra Govt./Criminal Investigation Department of Maharashtra State preferably to the Central Bureau of Investigation, Mumbai Branch for investigating the case and get refund of Rs. 234500/- along with the interest from the above fraudsters because all the above Investigating agencies wants me to route my case through Govt. of India, Public Grievances for further investigation in the matter. That is why I am approaching your highness to please forward my complaint/case to any of the above Investigating Agency preferably to CBI, Mumbai through proper channel to expedite the investigations at their end and refund my money.

    (I have also gone through the Similar other cases) In this regard, I am also attaching here with Article of Times of India Paper pertaining to a Similar fraud case in which the Bank Manager has taken the pain himself on victim's request and approached the concerned police authorities at their own end and succeeded in recovering and refunding the amount to the Victims. Then why my case is not being got investigated by ICICI Bank Management at their own end from Mumbai Police and recover their own account holders who have plotted this fraud with me. It clearly shows that the ICICI Bank Branch Managers are a party to the crime.

    Your immediate action shall be highly solicited.

    Default unlawful practice by ICICI Bank

    I Have a salary account (Savings)with ICICI bank, A/c No - 055501509432.

    With ICICI Bank I also have a credit Card No. - 4023685015967006

    I am on regular basis paying the amount due on my credit card since Sep 2008, but due to some financial crisis i coudnt pay the bills amounting to Rs 28000/-, which after Interset for two months have become Rs 31460/-, on 26th of May 2011 I recieved salary on my savings account of around Rs40000/- and without any intimation or information ICICI Bank collection department has taken Rs 31460/- from my savings account.

    There was no information provided to me of this, I got to know this only when i went for shopping.

    I called ICICI customer care on 27th May evening but they informed me that the amount has been freezed in lieu of non-payment credit card bill (approx. Rs 31000/-), limit of this credit card is Rs 50, 000/- and there is nobody available from collections department.

    on 28th may morning I again called ICICI BAnk, they are now saying that the bank has the full authority to do this and it is mentioned in the terms and conditions as well, just to inform you that this clause is mentioned in misclenious section and hence not very visible.

    Now only Rs 7000/- is remaining with me and I have to pay house rent and i also need money for other household chores.

    I want to launch a complaint against this unlawfull practice, they arew not even willng to help and let me make payment in installments.

    This is absolutly wrong, and action must be taken against this. I Consider this action of ICICI as a stealing from my savings account.
