    Default ICICI Phone Banking Service

    I am a long standing customer of ICICI. Unfortunately I also have loan account with ICICI, interest for which they are still charging 12.5% and I am paying through my Nose. When I approach them, they tell me they will not decrease the interest amount till its at with with some PLR however they can increase it as and when the interest rates increase.. Isnt this absolutely unfair??? It is literally leaching away our money and NO ONE is doing anything about it.

    To add on to that frustration, I had a terrible experience with the phone banking service, which has one long drawn and extremely unfriendly call-tree and no human voice to speak to. When I select 'bank account' it asks me to key in my debit card number and my pin and then it goes blank leading me to believe that something is happening, and after wasting about 5min on my call time, which is minus the 3min call tree maneuvering, i realize that I am going no where and end my call. I have to generate a 2yr bank statement and need it quick, so I go through the agonizing process of calling the phone banking service again and experience the same thing over and over again and I loose one hr of my time and money on calls to ICICI. All this while not once am I diverted to phone banking officer. So the next time I opt for loans option and go to home loans and after 3min of call tree I get re-directed to a human voice which I am thankful to but later to find out that the electronic voice was more helpful! I explian my situation to her but she rattles her procedures and tells me that she will redirect her call back to the dreaded main menu. I loose my temper and tell her that I want to talk to someone in the phone banking office and just put in a request, she promises me to redirect and puts me on hold, I listen to music for 5min when I realize that she also has taken me for a royal ride.

    It is so very frustrating and agonizing. They bend backwards to sell their products but when it comes to service it is a very sad state. Can someone intervene here please. Thank you!

    Default Home Loan repaid a year back. Need ownership document back !

    I have been a customer since 2000. Had a house loan for 5 years, which was paid diligently and completed in August 2008.
    On October 16th 2009 - I contacted your phone banking to retrieve my ownership document. They came up with a story that I owed 4016 INR due to some late charges. I raised a complaint - and was informed that this would get resolved in 4 business days and ICICI would call me. They "DID NOT". I called them on 21st October and they said the problem is still not resolved. After that I tried the number multiple times - but due to your call volume you disconnected the line.
    I managed to contact ICICI on 15th November again. They told me that the 4016 has been waived, but now they have a new problem essentially not with my loan - but a mis-match in your own books - due to which they cannot dispatch the document to me.
    Once again - I asked how much time will this take to be resolved - answer 2 days. I called ICICI back today - next excuse - the system is down so they cannot give me a status. I told the representative that I need a response and she said that eitherways she would call me back and give me the status. I have not received the call and is is post 6 PM !!

    I am sure if I had defaulted in paying the EMI - ICICI would not have delayed nor hesitated to give me warnings, impose late fees - so and so forth.

    It is my legal document that you are holding - due to your inefficient issues.

    Let me know how you plan to address this asap.

    Question Lost my all details of my account

    Hi,

    I, M.Sowjanya had lost my ATM card.So, I could not access my account and also I dont have my passbook, cheque book. How can I take my amount details of my savings account from the bank??Send me the details to my mail id i.e., middelasowjanya@gmail.com Please kindly respond to my compliant.

    Having been with ICICI for many years, I certainly do not think that they are unreasonable. Hope your issue is resolved.
