I have been a customer since 2000. Had a house loan for 5 years, which was paid diligently and completed in August 2008.
On October 16th 2009 - I contacted your phone banking to retrieve my ownership document. They came up with a story that I owed 4016 INR due to some late charges. I raised a complaint - and was informed that this would get resolved in 4 business days and ICICI would call me. They "DID NOT". I called them on 21st October and they said the problem is still not resolved. After that I tried the number multiple times - but due to your call volume you disconnected the line.
I managed to contact ICICI on 15th November again. They told me that the 4016 has been waived, but now they have a new problem essentially not with my loan - but a mis-match in your own books - due to which they cannot dispatch the document to me.
Once again - I asked how much time will this take to be resolved - answer 2 days. I called ICICI back today - next excuse - the system is down so they cannot give me a status. I told the representative that I need a response and she said that eitherways she would call me back and give me the status. I have not received the call and is is post 6 PM !!
I am sure if I had defaulted in paying the EMI - ICICI would not have delayed nor hesitated to give me warnings, impose late fees - so and so forth.
It is my legal document that you are holding - due to your inefficient issues.
Let me know how you plan to address this asap.
