    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I would like to complaint against Barclays Bank. I have taken a loan from them and its been more than a year. These guys have really pissed me off so much that i would like to complaint against them. If you kindly assist me that to whom do i need to meet to explain the whole scenario.

    You can count on personal of Barclays Edgware Road Branch to add an extra stress to your day. They are very happy to explain to you what they can not do for you, and not what they can do for you. People working there, Wojcek Wolovicz in particular, are sarcastic and actually argue with you instead of helping you and giving you accurate information. On number of occasions, I felt helpless, and when I decided to close the account because of the poor services and customer treatment, Wolovicz response was ‘I am happy to do that for you’. This is one person, but being with Barclays for five years I think that attitude actually gives very accurate picture of the Barclays bank.
    Recently I needed a proof of my savings with Barclays. They can not write a letter confirming authenticity of your saving account statement. They can not in fact write any kind of letter because they have only one template. You may order the statement for which they promise it will arrive in 5 working days. Last time I have ordered the letter it did not arrive in 10 days. When I took another time off my work to check why I have not received the statement, they were clueless. However, they promised to order it again.
    To summarise, you can not relay on Barclays to give you a fundamental service- such as a proof of your funds with them. But what is worse, you can not count on them to treat you respectfully as their loyal customer. For them you are an enemy and they are ‘very happy to close an account for you’ to quote Wolovizc.

    With reference to the above subject, my name is Palanethra Basavaraju Barclays Bank Card Number is 4339 5017 6226 0132 I have taken settlement of 21,000.00 (but this is my actual amount) for 4 months I made 3 payment for 4th EMI due to financial crises I could'nt made payment of 8,000.00 but the remain amount made next month itself. even I confirmed with representative than only I proceed.

    Now the problem is still in my account it showing 57,000 balance, I mailed so many e-mail for barclays bank but finally I have got replay saying that your settlement is invalid you have to make 57,000.00. But I said collection representative whatever late payment made (8000.00) I can bear interest not for 57,000 remaining amount.

    I don't mind to make 8000.00 payment on 4th EMI but the problem is one more personal loan going with Barclays Bank (1,00000 taken 24 EMI's out of that till remaining amount is 35,000 (7 EMI's pending) no cheque bounce till. One thing I am not cheating bank or anybody.

    So, kindly suggest me in this satiation what action I can take. but present situation I can't make one rupee payment I have to look out my family there are 4 dependent on me.

    I hope I get good suggestion from you end. Kindly Solve the problem as soon as possible.

    After this drama within few min. I received call from 022 67348600 regarding, have you used your card for any purpose/purchase, I sad no, again executive ask me when you made your last transaction I told her my Last transaction was on 05.06.2008 amount 7010/- for that she ask me have you sweep the card on 27.06.2008 I sad No... I do not use card on 27.06.2008 after she ok.. we will get back you disconnect the phone.

    After this again I made call to your Barclays Customer Call Center they are saying you used the card on 03.07.2008 for Air ticket that 3 transaction each 4155/- x 3 so I sad 05.06.2008 I never used the card and even my card was blocked form my be 07.06.2008 onwards. But 02.07.2008 I received call from 04442288555 time 4.42 PM regarding Mediclime Insurance plan we are calling from Barclays we tie up with ICICI Lambord insurance there is plan for Barclays Customer if you agree we will deduct in your credit card 5050/- for both spouse and You I sad OK... they told me you will shortly receive call from ICICI Bank for verification if you interest please say yes... within few minutes I received call from 04466294151 at 5.50 PM 02.07.2008 they sad we are calling from ICICI Lambord regarding as explained by your Barclay Executive is it agree, shall I deduct 5050/- in your Card, for spouse and you, I sad OK......

    So, these are the full drama did from last few days, but today I shocked to seen the SMS once again saying I never used the card after 05.06.2008.

    So, kindly Revert the deducted amount, and very important I need full report of card ending with 0132 transaction when it was deducted, what is the time, Which location, which airline ticket was booked, when is the departure date. These are the details required me. So, please consider this is written compliant.


    So, kindly suggest me in this satiation what action I can take. but present situation I can't make one rupee payment I have to look out my family there are 4 dependent on me.

    I hope I get good suggestion from you end. Kindly Solve the problem as soon as possible.

    REMINDER-2

    With reference to your below mail, it is requested that you must mention the full details fo the subject & the details about the account also with respect to the complaint/request/query raised & been registered to you. As I had reuested for two account (one- Barclays Credit card Closure & another Barcklays Personal Loan No dues Statement, and in replies of both the request your executives are again & again changing the reference number & nor the details of the particular requests are mentioned anywhere nor the details of the subjected account in the email.

    Also, till date I haven't recieved any satisfactory reply, with repect to ervey reminder sent I am just getting an reply email with a new refernce number mentioned in it & stating for SORRY in the delay.

    The details of the reference no. I had recieved against my request for No dues certificate & CIBIL record number against Personal loan A/c no.: 000001499536 are as given below.are as below:

    Default Barclays Priority circle credit card

    I have called the customer care so many times to cancel the Barclay Priority circle, but whenever I called them, they always said, request is in progress ( Complaint No: CAS 3571406). And they are continuously adding the charges into my account. Finally they told me send an email to service@barclays.com. They send me a mail that they are not going to cancel the Barclay Priority circle. For all these process, it has taken 2 and 1/2 month and what they are doing they are adding the charges into my account.


    Please let me know what I need to do so that they can atlease revert the charges and I will pay only Barclay Priority circle charges.

    What action I need to take to resolve the problem?

    Default Non Settlement of credit card by Barclays Bank PLC

    Sir,
    This is with reference to the not settlement of credit card even though I have the settlement letter provided by Barclays bank.
    The credit card settlement numb – MUM/BCGOLD/89441 dated – 12/09/2009, Credit Card Numb – 4339489441206298.
    I have still not got any NOC from the bank but still getting calls from them for the settlement.
    Please guide me how to file the case against the bank; I would also want the compensation for the harassment I have to go through.

    Default Barclaycard not giving No dues letter even after settlement, problem in Home Loan

    Hello,

    I had hold a barclaycard credit card sometime back and done a small transaction of 1600 rs from there. Later on I made payment towards the card as well as I settled it through full and final settlement in April 2010. Unfortunately, I do not have any of the documents with me. However I called customer care at (022) 6724 2222 and confirmed my settlement. The customer care executive have taken down my complain as she can see the settlement done, but still can not see the card as Zero balance. If the balance is not zero then they can not provide No Dues letter.
    Complaint Number - 4438860.
    I have applied for Home Loan but that is pending as I do not have this No Dues letter from Barclays and I need this urgently. I am even ready to do the payment of whatever is outstanding there, but the customer care does not take care of that.

    Can this be helped so that I get this ASAP ? My Home Loan application is pending due to this ....

    Hi

    I have made a settlement with Barclay for my credit card and i am still receiving calls from the collection agencies asking me to make a payment. These harassment calls have been coming in for almost 2 years now and i have also made a complaint in their contact center and nothing seems to be working. Please help as i m very tired of the calls. I m suffering after making a payment.

    Default opening a cd

    I want my account closed. I am getting a million different stories and the money is not being put back in my account. The rate I was quoted isnt even the same rate I was given. I am alerting my bank and I filed a complaint with fbi internet fraud organization.

    Default Harassment calls - Barclays Credit Card

    I've closed my credit card before 2 years.They have taken club membership without my knowledge.I asked them to reverse my amount.But the failed to do that.so i trash the card.Now after 2 years some agencies calls and treated me to pay the amount.As, I'm now in Hyderabad they asking me to pay.Traced my number through job portal calling me & family members.Disturbing us & relatives.Number which i got call 040-43596461,43596464. Kindly me in this issue.

    I'm so disapointed with barclays branch in edgware road, they offered me a seat and i've been waiting nearly one hour and half and at the end they appologise and they told me to book an appointement for an other day.
    So wich customers service they got in this branch!!!!!!!!!!!!! they changed completely my day

    I have taken loan from

    Barclays bank (Loan number: lc11011005870369)4 years back and I

    was paying the EMI on time, I

    have paid 7 EMI's and after that

    I have receivced one call as in

    my ECS got bounced due to change

    in account number. And the

    recovery agent abused me like

    anything as.After that I have

    not paid any EMI and now a days

    so many people from barclays are

    coming to my home and harrasing

    my mother and father to put

    behaind the bars and still using

    the abusive language..
    Please

    help...
