    Default non clearance of cheque

    i want to submit my complaint against state bank of india,city branch, moradabad,u.p. in which i am having a saving account no.(10437491816).this is regarding a cheque (no. 193865) of amt. 50000 of axis bank ltd. civil lines,meerut which i was submitted on dated 02/06/10 into my account (no.10437491816) through above mentioned sbi branch. but after repeated visits to the branch neither the cheque has been cleared till date nor i get any kind of satisfactory answer from the concerned authorities, as i m serving in itbp, a paramillitary force and presently posted in jalandhar,in view of that i am not able to contact my branch regularly. so i request you to take an early action against the branch and help me out.an early action will be highly appreciated. yours sincerely amit bhati deputy commandant itbp

    In case a customer is not satisfied with the handling of grievance by the Local Head Office, a communication may be sent (enclosing the message sent earlier to Local Head Office) to the Deputy General Manager (Customer Service) and the CMD of State Bank Of India at the below mentioned address.

    If the same is not resolved to your satisfaction within one month from the date of receipt of the complaint, you are free to take recourse to any of the following:-

    a)Directorate of Public Grievances, Govt. of India, Cabinet Secretariat, Sansad Marg, New Delhi.

    b)The Banking Ombudsman located in State Capitals under RBI Ombudsman Scheme 1995,
    relaunched as Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006. Presently, Banking Ombudsman is located at 15 Stations. For addresses and area of operation of Banking Ombudsman please Click the below mentioned link where you will get ‘Our Commitments’ followed by ‘Banking Ombudsman Scheme’.

    c) The District Consumer Forum under Consumer Protection Act. 1985.

    Default not clearance cheque within 2 month and 15 days

    i want to submit my complaint against bank of india,khuntitoli branch, simdega,jharkhand in which i am having a saving account no.(457010110001157).this is regarding a cheque (no. 1982134) of amt. 14250 of jharkhand gramin bank,bansjor,simdega which i was submitted on dated 11/11/2011 into my account (no.457010110001157) through above mentioned bank of india, khuntitoli branch. but after repeated visits to the branch neither the cheque has been cleared till date nor i get any kind of satisfactory answer from the concerned authorities, as i m serving in itbp, a paramillitary force and presently posted in jalandhar,in view of that i am not able to contact my branch regularly. so i request you to take an early action against the branch and help me out.an early action will be highly appreciated. yours sincerely Rajesh kumar baitha, computer assistant, NREGA, Simdega, jharkhand.
