i brought personal loan from barclays finance ltd., Loan amount Rs.3,05,000/- 36 months emi. Rs.12629/- per emi. 18 months due over. now the outstanding is rs.1,83,000/- 18 months due. From the past 2 dues i am not able to paid.(May and June 2010) While i ask for settlement they rejected my request. I am not able to pay the full amount. I want one time settlement with reasonable discount under the act of RBI. what can i do in this situation. From the past one week i received lot of calls from barclays finance collection agencies. They are not heard my answers. They tell the same word as when will you the pay the emi. we are not giving any settlement. two days back their collection executive come to my shop and urge to pay the two months emi immediately. Can I file a compliant against barclays finance? If they give a reasonable discount i am ready to pay the amount at any cost.
