Sir,
I am having SB A/c with HDFC BANK and I draw a cheque on 9-01-2009 of 1,50,000 and
as Rs. 800 were less in my account though when I deposited 1,50,000 they showed
balance of 1,50,076 but when my drawn cheque came for clearing they deducted their
minimum balance charges and on 15-01-2009 I deposited cash 2000 in morning but, the
cheque was bounced for not having sufficient funds o.k. but the reason HDFC gave for
bouncing cheque was " Effects not clear present again" they gave in written to STATE
BANK OF INDIA. How can bank demand present again and when I already transferred the
funds and on request by HDFC ,SBI again presented the same cheque and again cheque
was bounced and bouncing charges were deducted again (though earlier after deducting
charges they reverted back those charges) I am having proof of each statement given
by me.Please advice legal action and harassment charges.
