Recently purchased 485 Euros @ Rs 61.70 each, from Atlas Currency Exchange who called me up themselves after a just dial lookup. While purchasing, the fellow told me he would buy back the remaining euros when i come back @ Rs. 61.20 each. Due to the eruption in Iceland, the trip didnt work out. Today on 26/4/2010, when I called them to return the euros, the fellow tells me that the rate at which they are buying back is 59.75/euro. I tried explaining him what was promised to me over the phone while buying the euros. But he was not interested in knowing what i wanted to say. Later that fellow says that the sales department has told you the buy back rate but im in the accounts department. (they dont even know what they are talking). On further talking with him, he told me that he would ask the sales person to call me back and hung up. Every time i tried calling after that, he would answer the phone and keep it aside without talking anything. (Highly unappretiated)
