    Question Updation of mobile number - Worst customer service

    They are one of the worst customer service providers. I requested to update the mobile number in their website. And their system shown me that it take 24 hours to update it, but it was not updated. I sent a request several times, but of no use. Then I sent a mail to the concerned person, but of no use. I didn’t receive any reply from their side even after 10 days. Once again I sent another mail. After 3-4 days I received reply from their side and I was shocked to their reply. They said that the updation of mobile numbers through website has been suspended. They asked me to approach the nearest ICICI branch.

    Finally one day, I approached the branch and given a application to update it. And the executive entered in their system and said it is updated. But when I see it online the number was not updated. Again on the next day I visited that branch to confirm it. I was shocked for their punctuality. The branch open at 8.00 A.M, but the executive was present at around 8:45 A.M. I waited for almost 30-45 minutes for her. And the executive too was not able to confirm it. She confirmed it with her superior and said it takes 48 hours to get it updated. They don’t have the proper knowledge regarding their time period. The day before she said it was updated, and the next day she says it takes 48 hours to update it. But till now it was not being updated. Let me see how many days they take to just update a mobile number. Due to this I’m not able to use internet banking.

    What a worst customer service from ICICI bank?

    Atleast by seeing this, the bank people has to take care of their customers, else better to close their business as it is useless without satisfying their customers.

    My experience is also similar as far as the reporing via web site is concerned. There is a standard message that they will respond within 48 hours, but this never happens even after weeks! I have made the request through the website for some redressal in the first week of Feb 10 and yet their "48 hours" is not over! It is high time that they seriously look into what customer care / services they are providing.
