    Exclamation ICICI Bank Credit Card Fraud

    I held a credit card with ICICI Bank which I wished to settle. One of ICICI bank's collection agency called me and the Collections Manager (Mr, venkateshwara) confirmed that he would settle my account for Rs. 30000. Sent a representative and collected the amount, gave me a receipt and said that he would send the Settlement letter. Its over 6 months now and I still keep getting calls from ICICI bank asking to pay and I still haven;t received the settlement letter. This is absolute harassment after paying the money, and now they have sent me a legal notice to visit a civil court. This is harassment. If ICICI does not resolve this issue thid time I will lidge an FIR and go to court against them.

    Default ICICI bank personal loan pain

    I had taken ICICI bank personal loan # LPHYD00007370644 for 75000/-. I was paying the EMI on time until i got hospitalized and had to go on leave without pay for few months and i did not pay EMI's. On my return to the same company and address i resumed payment through different collection agencies who used to visit my house for collection. That went well until i got married and moved residence. I had informed the collection agency that my number will remain the same but i am shifting residence. The collection agency did not try to call me or visit me after my shift of residence. So I started going behind the collection personal to make payments and the last payment I made was on Feb 2nd 2008 via reciept # 7708259 for 7476/-. The collections person at that time M. Satish Kumar told me, next time he will not collect EMI from me because he will not get any incentive for my collection!!!! this was ridiculous, here I am trying my best to make a payment but they wont take it. ICICI bank branch was helpless because they said only collection agency can collect my EMI and collection agency says only alloted agency to my loan# can collect from Me. As a consumer what am I supposed to do? I send an email to ICICI bank asking them to link my loan account to my savings account so i can make payments or make another ECS, the reply came to me stating my signature doesnt match!! what a shock!

    I just got bugged and left it. Now 2 years later I get a call from Delhi Police stating there is a warrent in my name? I was shocked, what did I do this time. Delhi police told me to call an advocate to know details of case 120/9. Advocate Mohan Awasthi was very polite and mentioned the whole deal. He said that 3 legal notices were sent to my address with no response. I told them I am not aware of any legal notices or case. I was given an option to settle this out of court. I was given another phone number of a Nageshwar Rao, legal dept ICICI bank and was told to call him and make the deal for an out of court settlement. I was told if I fight it in court i will have to pay 1 lakh. I said I dont want to fight anyone in court, ill pay what is due from me. So Mohan said if its out of court settlement it should be 75000. He said 20 EMI's are pending. So Far my attempts to reach Nageshwar roa is fruitless. I called icici customer care and asked about outstanding. I was told its 62120/-

    For all this pain i have gone through which started due to ill health I want ICICI bank to withdraw case against me and come forward like a gentleman and sort this out. I am ready to pay 62120/- as outstanding amount. I have the cash with me now. Email me mohdkareem@gmail.com or call me 9291546980 or tell me where to visit you and close this case once and for all.

    Hello avisek,

    I am also facing the same issue.Agent told that my account is closed and settled for Rs 6000/- for some out standing amount.He written on the backside of the receipt like "Towards the closing of the A/c" and signed by him.

    Now ICICI Bank legal department is saying that it was not settled and harassing me to pay the due.Also they are saying it is not having any validity if any thing written by the agent on the reciept.

    Also, I would like to know your problem get resolved and settled?

    Hello,

    Mentioning "Full and Final Payment" on the receipt is not a valid document. This may also mentioned on the receipt.

    Dear Admin,

    It is not mentioned on the my receipt. I don't know since when it is introduced.I would like to know clearly what they are mentioned on receipt.I believe Banks are training their agents and agencies and indirectly encouraging the malpractices like these.its not at all acceptable.

    How does agent was encouraged to do that.Even I complain on this issue and submitted the copy of the same to the bank.But they have not taken any action on Agency and the related agent and harassing me to pay.

    Was this not a Ethical Code?

    This is not a new thing, collection agency use to do such thing.

    How can you prove that the mentioned statement is written by the bank officials. I don't think so that it is possible.

    Axis bank

    Marketing executive told me no charges credit card totaly free
    after i used that card bank added the aditional charges 400
    i refused to pay that amount after two years they are update my status to cibil
    i request to them now they are forced to pay Rs 5273/-

    some one told your balance is Zero how it is possible if my balance is zero my cibil status also changed
    they are making me as a fool

    i would like to ask ICICI bank if any customer had not paid there Credit Card Payment since last 2 yrs and now if he wants to pay in installment with his paying capacity monthly can icici bank help to close the chapter or still they want to go for legal. please suggest the best way to resolve the issue ????????

    Unhappy axis bank credit card fraud

    Marketing executive told me no charges credit card totaly free .after 1 year i still have never activated/used that card but axis bank added the aditional charges . i refused to pay that amount after two years they are update my status to 500/- i request to them now to cancel my card & now they are forcing me to pay Rs 5273/-

    I am holding a senior citizen account & they are making me fool with such credit card promotional schemes.
