HDFC - Unfair fee for depositing money HDFC bank which has the unique policy of charging a fee of Rs 100 everytime a non-account holder deposits money in the account of any HDFC account holder.
No bank in the world charges a fee to deposit the money into the account of the same bank. This is absolutely unfair and cheating the customers of their hard earned money. The bank says its governed by its policy, which is absoultely unfair from customer point of view. Why should someone pay any charge for simply depositing money at the cash counter?
There is no cost whatsoever for the bank just to take the money across the counter and pin into their system.
I hope there is some grave action taken soon against this self policing bank.

Unfair fee for depositing money. Hi,
I am "Rohini Grover" account holder for HDFC Bank. Acct no(00881140050280). I have been charged RS110.30 fee for depositing money in my account. Which I think is unfair and cheating the customers of their hard earned money. The Bank says its there policy, which is unfair from customer point of view. we should someone pays extra for depositing money in there account.
I would need some action should be taken against this.

why the RBI is not aware of hdfc bank who charge a fee of 110 just to deposit a sum in the holders account?
One takes a whole day to earn 110 rs. and these bank is simply charging sitting at the cash counter.
there should be an action taken on this reputed bank, since HDFC is one of a bigger bank in the country.
its was 1000 rs i had to deposit in my spouse acount, they said 110 is the fee.
crazyyyyyyyyyyyyy bank..
People reading this go and close the account pls or else will keep charging for nothing.
