Sent to HDFC BANK (Credit Card Dept)

Sir/Ma'm,

I used to have a HDFC credit card (card no- 4346772007009458) which I have surrended long back.
After which I used to get calls from recovery agents harassing me for money. I made them very clear that I do not want to continue with this card and want to go in for a settlement.
Under a false pretext of giving settlement on my card they had taken money from me alot of times and then just absconded. All my back to back calls on their numbers went unaswered with no revert back many a times. The money that they had taken from me on the pretext on settlement had been put into as taxes in my bill and sent bck to me agian.
This had happened umpteen number of times where I have just paid taxes agianst my card under the false pretext of settlement and have been cheated to the core. Finally, I left hope and did not know what to do, simply because calling your recovery agents in mumbai wasnt helping my case. Some days back I got a call from a recovery agent called Lenin who promised me settlement for 14,000 rs. and I told him to re negotiate but he did not. Finally i told him ill get back to him on this. A couple of back I called the recovery agent called Salil Varma. (cell no- 9322311737) and Meenakshi (cell no- 9320130100) in Mumbai office. And trust me Salil has really been a big pain in the wrong place. he first tells me that I would have to pay not 14,000/- but 25,000rs towards settlement or else 47,500/- towards NOC. Does HDFC work according to their whims and fancies at the cost of the customers misery??. Various amounts have been conveyed to me at different times when I call and mind you not long intervals. Day before yesterday I called Salil and asked him the NOC amount over my account and he told me that i would have to pay 47,500/- and the very next day I called him he told me that I needed to pay 50,000 Rs for NOC. This is really pissing off!...Not only that, they call up my father who is 70 + years of age (a senior citizen) and harass him for money. When my dad asked Meenakshi why this sudden change of amount within hours from 47500/- to 50,000/-. she says simply because I have a 'special' card. Mind you my card was a basic card with a limit of just 30,000 rs. On the other hand when I called Salil, he totally denied that he gave me such a comittment and said its only subject to approval. He is such a liar and cheat. He totally denied it point blank and said now please pay 50, 000 rs. I do not understand why does HDFC hire such cheap people who do not understand what to commit to the customer and how to stand by commitment. This just makes sure that the customer will also not be co- operative with the bank. MY CBIL records say- that I need to pay 11, 550 rs towards the card settlement and 47, 352 Rs towards the NOC from the bank. Then why is HDFC harassing me and my father for various amounts other than that mentioned in my CBIL records? Please do let me know which sensible person from HDFC bank I should call towards settling the amount which is only mentioned in my CBIL records and not what HDFC's funny recovery agents think! Iam expecting your reply soon.
