1. I purchase goods of rs. 28,499/ on 18/02/2012. Order no.1015417162 and the Order packet consist of 6 diamonds and one HCL Tablet. And as a prize, I was selected as One of the five entries for cash prize of 40lac, 20lac and 10lac. The sales person name was Aarti.

2. On 20/02/2012, again Aarti called up that if i again make a payment of 28,499 and book the same Order consisting the Same items again, i will be shifted to 3 position from 4th position for the cash prize award. Since I trusted on the 'India Today' Brand i went forward with order. Order id is 1015459328.
3. I was told that you will get resale certificate for diamonds. You just ignore what verification department tells you. You will get GH quality of diamonds certified by GIA, but the diamonds which was received was of KLM quality and certified by company called GJI.

4. I was told that the worth of diamonds in the packet is Rs. 60000 and i would get 1 lac for it in market but when i went to sell in the market, the total packet was not worth even Rs. 5000.

5. They also said that for further processing of cash prize entry, they would sent me some forms which i would have to fill and sent it back. But i didnt receive any such forms too.

6. Since that i sent many e-mails complaing about the same, but they have not called me to explain the matter.

7. Then again on 06/03/2012, Ashish from the resale department called me up saying that the will help me out. He said that the company will buy back the diamonds from me and credit me with Rs. 60000 for the diamonds and it will take 10 working days. But for that I will have to block again 19999 with them for 10 days and once i get the money back, they will credit back the amount of Rs. 19999 back to me.

8. I went forward with the same and got the amount 19999 blocked from my credit card. But since then no call came up from Ashish. Infact from the verifaction department i kept receiving call that i had place a order (Order Id: 1015962881) for buying diamonds again. I said them that I had not placed any order its just that i had blocked the amount for the processing of the resale of diamonds. So I got the Order cancelled and they said they will refund the amount in 5-7 days. But till now no respond for that too.

9. I don’t understand what is the problem that they can’t call me and explain me about both issues which are pending and get the refund back.

10. I was sceptical about many things but you told me that this is from India Today group and everything is true and transparent.

11. They ara exploiting the goodwill of India Today group and by lying, cheating ,fooling,They are looting the people.

12. Now today i got mail that if i feel that the product is not worth and not used, send the parcel back to them and then they will initiate the refund process. Question is that how can we trust a fraud company. Whats the guarantee that they will refund my money back once they receive the diamonds back.

13. I am going to file a complaint against the company for cheating and forgery case. Request all of you to not to buy anything from Bag it today and those cheated request you too also to file against the company. Such company which loots people money should be shut down.


14. Post this, I had got a call from Riya from the sales team and she said that she will solve all my problems by April first week. She said that for the point 8th (Order Id: 1015962881)mentioned above they will initiate the refund process and i would like to mention that i got the refund of 19999 on 25th March. Thanks for that.
Now, for the fraud diamonds issue, she said that she will issue Sale certificate to me and with the help of that I will be able to get the full value of the diamonds bought. She said that the Sale certificate will be issued to me by first week of April. But till now I have not got it. She even forced me to send a mail that all the issues have been sorted out and i have no issues with Bag it today. I till had a trust in the brand of India today and so i sent the mail and was ready to wait till First week of April to get issues sorted out. But I cant take it any longer. There is a limit of patience.
