I ordered(order number 775349) for a land line phone over letsbuy.com to gift it to my dad on his birthday on 12th jan 2012. I got a confirmation on my mobile saying the product is shipped on 11th jan 2012 with the airway bill number of DTDC V07234218. Ever since I have been trying to check the status on the DTDC website but could never get an update. I tried to mail and call DTDC to check this. They said they have never recieved any order by this number. When called LETSBUY they said the order will take 8 days to reach and its only that the air way bill number is not updated. I waited in vain for 8 days. My dads birthday was over long back. When I called LETSBUY back, they said my place is not accessible to DTDC. The fact is DTDC office is just next to my house. Now they are saying the product is getting back to them and then they can process a pay back. But this they have been saying since 8 days now. I called up today they are saying they cant give a pay back with out them recieving the product. I asked them where the product is, they are saying they dont have any idea. What do they expect me to do. I am not even given any new airway bill number to track it. I am completely in a fix. When I asked them to ship it to an alternate address which is in Cochin, they are not ready to do that either.I dont know why I shopped on this horrible website.They said they will call back for the status but I havent recieved that either. The best part is they dont give any reference number for the conversation we had. Please give me a solution.
