    Default Tradus.in : Fraudulent; Never buy from them

    I order an Amazon Kindle from Tradus.in on 30th December, 2011 to be delivered in 10-15 working days.
    Here are some of the instances from the episode that instill a very low level of confidence in me that I am going to get my product:
    1. When I ordered the product, I received an email from Tradus.in saying that payment has been received and I was given an email in case of issues ( parul.kaushik@tradus.in). When I tried to contact Parul regarding my queries, mail bounced back.


    2. On website, there is no customer contact number mentioned where you can call


    3. When I tried to contact them through website, an HTML form opened which would let me type just 300 CHARACTERS ( read again it is characters and not words)


    4. I queried them ( 16th Jan , 2012) that I haven't received any shipment details till now. I got a response today ( 17th Jan, 2012) that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department and they will get back to me in 3 days. Wait a minute, I should be getting my product in next 3 days and not any excuse.
    When I again replied back asking them whether they have shipped the product or not , I haven't heard anything from them .

    The standard shipping time is 10 - 15 working days (Saturday, Sunday & public holidays excluded) & we are well aware about the progress of your order.

    Please be rest assured that our team is already working on the progress of your order and which has been communicated to you already from our mail ID yesterday.

    Secondly please note that once the product is shipped you will be informed about the courier details. Further kindly note that we have committed 10-15 days to dispatch and not delivery, hence if you are expecting a delivery within the next 3 days, kindly note that is not a commitment on our side.

    Thridly we are not too sure why the email shows as not delivered to you - kindly check we have reverted to you on the same mail yesterday!

    Last but not the least , Tradus.in is not involved with any fraudulent activity - we have been building trust and relationship all the way and we will continue to do so.
    We are committed to customer service and our team is always looking for opportunities to give you the best support and experience when you visit or shop with us. We presently do not have a call centre, however, we prefer to serve you through emails which are documented and transparent all across - we assure you once again, we have the best customer service team across the industry and not having a direct number to reach us is not a hindrance at all.


    We hope that all your concerns have been addressed in regards to this issue and tradus.in

    In case of any other concern, please revert to our mail send yesterday.

    Appreciate the call from your side to clarify few things. My take on the things:

    1. Would be really beneficial for you and the customer if you quote DELIVERY time and not SHIPPING TIME. As a customer, I am least bothered about the SHIPPING TIME.

    2. Would really appreciate a quick response from your team in getting the product shipped in next 2-3 days.

    3. Regarding Building trust, here are few suggestions
    a) Have a dedicated customer call center.
    b) No limit on the customers message ( 300 characters is too little too less). If you want to build trust, LISTEN to customers.
    c) Commit delivery times and not shipping times as mentioned above.

    I have checked my email and the only email that I got from my yesterday's query is from Kanika and there is no update on progress of the order given by her. She only says that the "mail has been forwarded to the concerned department and we will get back to you with 3 days", which is not very confidence inspiring.

    Also, I have replied 2 times to that email ( asked queries) at 12:21 pm and 2:31 pm and haven't got any reply from them. Prompt reply goes a long way in customer satisfaction and trust building.
