I’m Sudhakar from Chennai. I would like to bring an online cheating/fraud to your notice.
I’ve placed an order for “FRONTECH 5.1 Home Theater with Remote - 5080w” for Rs.3560 (order No:111780412) through Indiatimes Online shopping. Then for shipment of the ordered product, it took 10days (after making several calls, finally on 17.08.2009). But till 21st of Aug I haven’t received the product. Again I called the Indiatimes customer cell, and told them that “I’ve been irritated by this order, if I’m not getting a proper reply on 24th Aug I’ll be taking Legal actions”.
Finally on 24th Aug I’ve received a product which I’ve not ordered for.
Actually I’ve ordered for FRONTECH 5.1 Home Theater with Remote - 5080w for Rs.3560. But the product which I’ve received is FRONTECH FM / Home Theatre - 4.1 Ch - 2280w (model- JIL 1867) which is only Rs.2760. I’ve not been informed about this change of product earlier. My order is very clear there is no chance of interchanging these two items unless it is done purposefully. So this is absolutely a cheating. I’ve again contacted the customer cell they are simply saying to send back the received product to them. I’ve asked them to send the product which I’ve ordered for and to collect this received item at the time of delivery. i'm not getting any responce from them. they are Simply disconnecting the calls and not replying to emails also.
I've been cheated by Indiatimes online shopping. Please help me to get the ordered product or refund with compensation for this online fraud from indiatimes.
