I would like to lodge a complaint against online seller Infibeam.com. I had ordered a book from them at Rs. 334/- and at that moment the book was in stock with them. After few days as I had not received the book I checked up the order status on their website and found they had cancelled the order. When I wrote an email to them they replied with reason that the book was out of stock and they had to restock it at higher price. I think this is not fair if they have accepted a order at a certain price they have to deliver the product to me at the same price. Also I had been regularly checking the site and the product was never out of stock. Also how can they cancel an order on their own without asking the customer, there was no email or phone call for the same. Now they have increased the price of the book by Rs 50/-, again this is not a matter of Rs. 50/- but of integrity and honesty. They have not replied back to my email which stated if they do not ship me the book at the ordered price I will be forced to approach the Consumer forum.
I will appreciate if you could look into this matter and guide me.
