This is THE worst experience that I have had in online Shopping. I have been doing online shopping for some years now and bumped at INDIAPLAZA


I ordered a Camera tripod worth Rs. 5525 (Order No IN1812110619) on 18th Dec 2011. I followed up on the first week, but no response from there end.
Locked a ticket CNT2112110099(On 22nd Dec 2011) which they only responded after a week with this comment:-


Dear Arnab , We regret to inform you that your order for the item “ “ has been canceled from our end, as the item was out of stock with our supplier. We tried our level best to source the item from our alternative supplier, but our efforts went in vain. Hence we were forced to cancel the order. The refund against the same was been processed on 2nd November. The same would be reflecting in your account in 7 working days, Kindly bear with us till then. Warm Regards, Mahima Customer Support Indiaplaza.


If you notice they mention the Cancel Date of 2nd Nov where as the order was placed on 18th Dec.
Then I called them, to my surprise the agent said that the order was not cancelled but they will ship by next week, the order status was also showing as Being Processed.


Today when I called up they say that we will not ship the item but cancel the Transaction.


My question is :-
1. If you do not have the item in stock why are you selling it and when you have the shipment date as 4-5 Days why do you wait till the 18th day to cancel the transaction
2. Who will compensate for the blocked amount as it will take another 7 Days from today to get the money back
3. If you go to the site you will still find the same item for sale

4. If you are unable to fulfill the item why is it still on sale?




I dont know where to get resolution for this kind of online shopping fraud.
Any help from anybody
