I ordered an item vide order number 2011-09-29-019686 from StarCJ Alive on 29/Sep/2011 by making the payment of Rs. 999/- by credit card. I got the delivery of that item on 07/Oct/2011. When i opened the box the item was damaged, i called their customer care to log a complaint. They took the complaint and provided the order number as reference number.
After several reminders and written (email) complaints they got the item collected on 24/Oct/2011 and provided the courier receipt for the same. Till date no refund is made and the customer care has no clue of the status.
Also, on their website the status for that order is coming as returned since the day i logged the first complaint but neither any replacement or refund is given. I have spent more than Rs. 100/- on calls plus lot of time which i could have put in other constructive thing. I never find any senior person available in StarCJ to discuss the customer problem even they never responded to my emails and all executives says that they are not authorised to response in writing. This was not expected with such a big brand.
I appreciate your help in this regard. I would like to take them in consumer court and claim for deficit in services along with for mental agony.
