I had enquired about DTH from Airtel on their website. I received a call from Noida from Vriti Infocom who were claiming to be a channel partner of Airtel for DTH. Manoj Shah had called me from Vriti and asked me to do online payment of Rs 1490 towards set-top box. The next day, some people came for installation and informed us that there is no satellite coverage at my apartment and DTH can not be installed. Post this, I tried several times to contact Manoj Shah and other Vriti numbers for a refund of my amount but no one answered. I also sent several mails (also including airtel DTH mail ID) but no one bothered to respond. It has now been more than 15 days that I am trying to contact these guys for a refund but to no avail.

I think I am cheated by these guys. They are ruining Airtel's image in market and Airtel should take some strict action against these guys (of course if Airtel cares about their customers).

I bought reliance netconnect from vriti infocom PVT LTD guy name Puneet and his mobile number 9533157022 at Hyderabad location.The connection is still pending for last 15 days and he promised worth of 5000 rs tickets to Goa within 5 minutes when i bought the reliance connection.I didn't receive yet.whenever i call Puneet he say i am in meeting and will disconnect the call, if i call customer service of reliance they are telling to contact puneet back and they are not aware of vriti infocom PVT LTD. its a worst customer service.

The same as others, I had received call from Vriti saying that they are calling from reliance. They offered me Holiday e-Voucher for 2 nights & 3 days package. This e-voucher is not at all opening. When I enter data it gives error like wrong MDN number. I have been contacting Vriti executives but they are not responding neither picking up my calls. Mr.Munendra was the executive from Vriti.

While activation I used to receive call from Mr.Jai & Mr.Dinesh. By God gress my account got activated but the way i opened my accounted is only I know. I had to follow-up with them like anything. Those people never pickuped call....whenever i called always busy....

Self left my contact details on airtel digital tv website expressing interest. I was called by vriti infocomm stating they are yr preferred channel partners. The person calling was one Brajendra kumar from vriti infocomm tel no - (0120)4087607. I agreed to online purchase of dig tv hd and paid Rs.5700 online at connectindia.in on Saturday 3 July 2010 towards the purchase of hardware and annual ultra pack combo.Till date the digital tv has not been installed and the concerned person is not answering the phone.

I was told the device will be activated within half an hour.


It has been more than two weeks but the device hasn't been activated. The local guy, Puneet, he ia fraud and is not responding to the calls. He has repeated told me that the device will be activated within one day, two day, one hour, 10 min, but nothing.

Further, they advertise that they will send a laptop bag and a free travel voucher. However, even that is false. They are JUST PLAIN CROOKS who are cheating honest citizens. BEAWRE OF THEM and NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM.

As you mentioned that you have already registered your complaint with the Virgin customer care but still not get any response, so we suggest you to send a written notice to the Nodal Officer via email or registered post, mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in the notice, wait for their response and revert us back.
Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

If you type "reliance data card" in google, one of the top links will take you to a web page which sells this data card for Rs 1999 as compared to store price of Rs 2299. They also offer 2N/3D holiday to Goa for free. The offer also says "Offer brought to you by Vriti Infocom, an online partner of Reliance Communications". The page asks for user's personal details like email and phone number, so that an agent can get in touch soon.

Below is the link to this fraudulent web page. My request to you is that please take rigorous action against those who is promoting this.

This fraud still goes on and on. I also bought a datacard in the same scheme and to my surprise i also received another mail to my other email in which the price was mentioned 2299/- and they had also informed me that i will be recieving an email about the holiday details but i have not recieved them yet. Please take some action against them.

similar to other cases mentioned above, I left my contact info on the webpage above and they sold me airtel dth 1yr ultra pack, and they transferred me to IVR system to make payment ,I made a payment of 4000 but fortunately the perpetrator have not yet been able to claim the payment, I have requested my bank to hold the payment

Fraud, liars, cheaters are only few words to describe these ppl in vriti infocom....Taken money for data card wich never worked..... and now getting calls for monthly bill for the same reliance data card wich never worked. this company have crowd of unprofessional, ill mannered, people who does nt knw how to speak to customers. Required help urgently.

I was almost trapped by these guys.

It's a post paid connection and my RSN/Kit No is 9243313395. I got a call from you and one of your agent came to deliver it to me. His name is Sekhar from electronic city, Bangalore.

However since the last 4 days i am not able to connect to internet and it's giving some error. Error no 628 or 678. I tried calling up your agent since the last 3-4 days but he is giving some excuse and not responding nicely. Now he didn't even pick my call. I tried calling up Ankit on a number i received on sms. But line is always busy or even if i do got the line, it got disconnected as soon as i mentioned that i am from Bangalore.

I am surprise to know that you were so eager to get the money by coming to my room however, did not even care to have a check on the issue.

I called tata photon customer service. It seems i require one account number that's of 9 digit, which your agent did not give. Even the Tata Photon CSR told that my photon number is not on their database. I have wasted money making a deal with you (Vriti) and i want a refund. I got the receipt for the amount i paid. The receipt no is 4671. I should have listen to my friends when they told me to take Airtel. However, i am not going to quit until i got my refund or please get my connection. I am planning to file a complaint against consumers' court regarding the issue if i don't get any reply soon.

i Have submitted my name and phone no. on airtel.in website and i gt call back frm the no. 01204087615 and i said yes for home delivery but he said you have to pay befor from delivery.i said ok and the person came to my home and i gave him 1600 rs for airtel dth and he gave me reciept of vriti infocom pvt ltd. but after 24 hr i called that all no. they r switch or nt reachable...it means airtel is also doing fraud with this vriti infocom..
i suggest not to pay before delivery for any item...please pay after receiving the item...
