    Angry complaint against indiatimes shopping

    A few months back i bought a touch phone from indiatimes shopping after seeing an ad in newspaper. i got the complete product they had advertised along with 2GB memory card and a bluetooth which they said was free with the product. a few days later i found the product was not satisfactory so i decided to cancel the order and contacted them. they e-mailed me the procedure for cancellation. As per their specification, i sent them my complete product back along with bluetooth. now they are making up stories of not receving the blue tooth and on asking for refund they keep saying that the cancellation order is under process and that someone will call us back. but there has been no reply from their end and nobody calls back. they keeping on replying that we have not recevied the bluetooth inspite of us sending it back.
    they are just making up stories and i am frustrated of repeatedly calling them asking for the status of refund. they also put the phone on a long hold before replying to our queries

    Please refrain from buying any prouducts at this site as the goods they sell is from some local market in delhi or Chinese stuff, DON NOT FALL FOR THE TRAP OF DISCOUNTS AS THE ACTUAL PRIZE WILL BE LOWER THAN THEY SELL.

    AND after you return the products they will never refund you the money, STANDARD ANSWER YOUR MONEY WILL REFUNDED IN 6 WORKING DAYS WHICH WIL NEVER HAPPEN the TNT guys who deliver the stuff first open up all the items and send it to the customer in a crapped way.

    The customer servie is very bad, they would never redund your money, whatever you buy is final, its all your luck to get a good product from website.

    Default problem with Indiatimes shopping

    I have purchased 5 Items from Indiatimes shopping online portal - and I never had any complaints about 4 (four) items I received. Even I have received a big product like Bionaire Tower fan - it was big enough to get damaged.
    I bought another Emergency light from e-Commerce India - that was also not at all damaged...
    I bought a very damageable product - Laptop cooling pad - and I received in very good condition,
    I bought a Utility trolley - it was also not at all damaged -
    But there is a Cheating company "Vishal Retail Ltd(102418)" - who is bothering me a lot and cheating with me - and the problem is Indiatimes Shopping is not at all taking a positive role in solving the problem. That Cheating company "Vishal" sent me a completely Damaged Product and after talking and writing a lot they changed that - and when next time time I opened the pack - I found the same damaged product they sent, and above all that company is claiming that they have sent me a good product this time.
    I have asked Icare to blacklist this company immediately and take necessary action - but it seems they are not at all ready to take any responsibility.
    Now I have found all the relevant Ministry Officers mail id - and I am going to sent a mail with all mail attachments to them complaining against Indiatimes shopping and that Cheating Company "Vishal".
    Here is a part of our mail conversation with Icare and "Vishal"
    I want to ask everybody to stop shopping from Indiatimes Shopping immediately - otherwise they are also gonna be cheated and disturbed a lot in future.

    Yes - one thing is new - that is the packaging.

    I am not sending back that product any more - it will help me to produce the evidence before Any Government official from Consumer Grievance Cell.

    I no longer need this item, and I am not returning this item - as I am really tired with mails and return mails, but am keeping the broken item for further investigations if done by India Govt. officials.

    But it seems one of the numbers - no more exists
    One of the number is the Fax number
    the other two numbers never attained - except only once - and then I was told that your customer care cell would call me the next day - but that "next day" never arrived...
    I bought 5 items from Indiatimesshopping at a time - all the other four items reached me safe and in good condition.
    But Order number 111703052, Sub Order number 2144712, Item number 1926660, Item title "INALSA Emergency Light-Sunny" - reached me in completely broken condition - and it seems that it is sent like this - because all the seals inside are broken, the main plastic cover inside, is tored off, one light is not working, the battery cover is broken and it remains open thus... and so on - the overview is, you tried to send me a junk item that was lying in your godown or backyard.
    I asked Indiatimes shopping to black-list a company like yours, to prevent others from this kind of suffering and trouble.
    I regreat to say you your company is the worst I have ever seen - I have made many online shopping from different companies - rediff-shopping, e-bay, baazee etc... but never experienced this kind of things ever.

    I received that Item yesterday through "Overnight Express" - and what I think it is not only their fault - as it is quite clear that a previously damaged product is sent to me by the seller.
    Many parts are broken, one bulb is not working, all the seals are broken or torn, some switch are not working, the main polythene pack that covering the product inside the box is torn - and the product is completely damaged. The seller should be black listed immediately.
    I know I have nothing to do if you do not replace this immediately, but what I can do is I can tell everybody I know by person or by mail or by phone and I will circulate this news to everybody that you are supporting some third graded seller and I will ask everybody not to buy ANYTHING from Indiatimes shopping.
    Another thing is, you have given me a mail saying that another order, no.111703052, sub no. 2144710 is already shipped but I have not received that yet. And another order (sub order 2144709) you have not shipped yet. You should not maintain any link with this third graded seller “Vishal Retail Ltd.†anymore to avoid this kind of feedback from other buyer. Otherwise you will lose all your prospective buyers. Take action immediately. Or I am going to circulate this everywhere. I am completely disappointed.

    Dear Sir,

    It is shocking despite talking to your helpline boys & girls so many times with no avail .As you are aware that the Canon Video camera DC210 order no.111678007 which we purchased from indiatimes.com was not working properly & was sent back through your good offices to M/S Gadgets & More to Mumbai.

    After talking to them also directly to get a new replacement for the product I think after a gap of 3 weeks they sent the same product back without any repairs.It is still not working & we got fed up .We ultimately thought to get our money back of Rs 14,400/-.We were assured by Mr.Rajvinder who seems to be senior to other boys mentioned that you will get the refund thru cheque as soon as possible .It is puzzling that despite that we have paid from our hard earned money.Why this delay? Why nobody has taken the product back & pay us the money back. Its been almost 3 months since I purchased this new video camera but have not used it even once.
    We thought Times of India is doing a fantastic job by directly getting quality products at cheaper price to the Indian consumer.But this is SHAMEFUL & DAYLIGHT ROBBERY BY INDIATIMES.COM OF PEOPLE’S HARD EARNED MONEY !

    Iam requesting higher management people to look into this matter & get us the Refund ASAP without any further Delay & Harassment.Otherwise we are going to the consumer court with this Defective Canon DC-210 video camera & all the receipts provided by indiatimes.com. & lodging a court case against indiatimes.My Lawyer will be sending you a LEGAL NOTICE shortly.

    I have been using different online portals to send gifts to my family and relatives back in India but I never had any trouble before. This is the first time I used Infibeam.com to send 4 Rs 1000 value big bazaar gift voucher to my parents in India as a gift.
    As per the promise stated in Infibeam.com website, items will be delivered within 4-6 business days. After I ordered the vouchers, I got a call from the portal asking me to send my scanned photo ID to them which I was bit reluctant to as none of the portals I have used before ever asked for it. Also being an overseas citizen I did not want to send my ID in case it gets mis used, but I was told that if I dont send it my order will not be delivered. So I had no choise but to send my ID to them.
    After 1 week when my parents did not receive their gift, I contacted infibeam and they gave me a lame reason that because it was Ganesh chaturthy in Mumbai they could not deliver the gift to my parents on time who live in Kolkata. I accepted the fact and asked them when will it reach and I was promised again that it will reach KOlkata within a week maximum. I waited for another week but it did not get delivered again. This time I was very angry and wanted to speak to a manager. This is when I spoke to Mr Anish Parikh who claims to be a manager of the company and apoligized to me and offered me 5% return and also promised me that he will follow it up personaly and make sure that it gets delivered in 1 week. I waited another week and again neither the gift got delivered and neither I got the 5% back. I have never seen such a bad customer service in my life. Not only that whenever I am trying to contact someone from the company using live help from their website, they have no idea what is going on with my order and after calling the company for more than 4 times and chatting through the live help may be more than 5-6 times I got the final answer that "its not our problem, its the courier company".
    When I asked for refund they were reacting as if there is no policy about refund and they will deliver the order when they feel they will. When I told Mr Parikh that I'll complain to cunsumer affairs his reaction was thats alright, you can go and complain if you want. I was never contacted by any senior manager despite my repeated request and now its been a month and still the order has not been delivered. I have left all hope and send my parents same gift with different website which they have already received.
    I would request everyone out there, please do not use this website again if you really care about the person you are sending the gift to. This company is full of fraud and do not trust anything what it says in their website.

    5. After repeated reminders and telephonic conversation with the concerned call centre, till date the item is not delivered to me.

    I request Indiatimeshoppiing to refund my money at the earliest as i have followed the procedure while sending the parcel, if your Courier service is not satisfactory it is of indiatimeshopping responsiblity to talk to Higher authorities of TNT Courier service to set the matter right to avoid unpleasant situation We as a customer of Timesindiashopping it is primary resposibility of the company to appoint a reliable courier services as product is sent through this service as in my case product sent by me is missing and not reached its destination.

    Default Blackberry 7130c defect in product

    Hi,

    I purchased a balckberry 7130c mobile handset from Indiatimes shopping website in the month of May. Since September i am facing a problem in my handset it automatically get switched off while talking i had a word with the customer service @ indiatimes where they have raised a complaint for the same and provided me the complaint number 1244793 and asked me to shipped the handset back to indiatimes they will get it replaced or repaired however after 10 days i get my handser back and there was letter from Vendor along with the handset that there is problem in a battery and we do not provide the warrenty for the battery so please get it replaced by your own.

    I have changed my battery but still problem did not get sorted again i called up at customer service and they said please send the handset back again we will get it checked again and the new complaint number is given to me which is 1255265 i am constantly following up with indiatimes but no is ready to help me i have writted many emails to the operations head as well but no one responded back to me with any solution and again they returned back my handset set saying that there is a problem in battery again.

    I am facing this problem from past 1 month but no one from indiatimes is ready to help me every time when i call up @ customer service they says that we will agange a call back for you in 24-48 hrs but i never received any call back from anyone in india times.I manager to get the number for escalation desk but they were also not responding to me.

    This is very rediculas customer service i ever faced in my life and i did a very big mistake of purchasing a product from Indiatimes.

    Default indiatimes shopping - book refund as GC for out of stock book

    Hi,

    I purchased book from indiatimes worth around 832 rupees. They canceled order and send me gift certificate instead telling that book was out of stock from vendor. I asked for refund as same mode of payment (credit card) but they refused and never escalated my request in spite of strong follow up from me. They stated in their terms and conditions that if there is any issue with price they will refund money in same mode of payment but then again they stated that for orders less than 2000 rs they will only give gift certificates. I feel this policy is unfair and should be changed. If customer is not at fault at least then he should not be forced into transaction with indiatimes. They should refund money in same mode at least.

    If some one from consumer court wants follow up emails send to indiatimes by me please let me know and I can provide you. I am going to now use the gift certificate instead of expiring them.

    Thumbs down Got Ditched !!!!

    TI was on the 2nd of NOv 2009 I saw an ad at MUMBAI MIRROR Newspaper which was selling 8GB MP3/MP4 player worth Rs.6000 discounted to Rs.1999. I was told that it is a Transcend Player ( TWICE I was told ) .

    I recieved the player after 12 days and to my shock , they sent some damn China made product .

    I have read columns here and realised returning the product wont bring back my money . So I wont return it.
    But i swear to teach Indiatimes.com a lesson.
    In days to come I am going to open up a forum @ facebook.com againt Indiatimes.com and MUMBAI MIRROR and THE TIMES OF INDIA as inditimes.com is group company of BCCL which owns the TIMES OF INDIA. PLease join the community and lets spread the message acrros everyone.
    Lets not allow more customers duped of their hard earned money.
    . Once i set up the community I'll update it over here.

    Angry Cheated by Indiatimes shopping/ Tecknics/Innovation World

    I have purchased one Hiphone last week. It is a duel sim mobile phone. I tried to use two sim in this phone. but it is not possible, if I select sim1, then only sim1 is working and the second sim will not work and any call to this number tell phone is switched off/out of the coverage area.same way if I select sim2 the sim1 will not work. Whereas while ordering it was advertiswd that dual SIM work together also FM missing in the phone. So what is the big idea of keeping this duel mobile phone. There is no other option for selecting duel sim.And many times I tried to call the seller but nobody picking the phone and now a days the landline number is not working. The seller is Tecknicks/ Innovation world. Please be aware of these cheaters.
