    Default Product not received from BuyAtBrands and they have stopped responding to my queries

    Hi,

    Below are the details of shopping done at buyatbrands.com"

    Order: #000330 placed on 22nd april 2011 at 22:43:20
    payment: ICICI bank credit card
    product:ucb benetton wrist watch white dial 3
    total amount paid: rs. 350
    shipping carrier: dtdc standard

    It has been mentioned on website "Buyatbrands.Com" that delivery time:- 5-6 working days from the order date.
    But the product has still not reached me. Today is 1st June 2011.

    Have dropped many mails to customer support email ID:contact@buyatbrands.Com but no favorable response. They say product has been shipped on 3rd may 2011 at 11:05:33
    payment was made on 22nd april 2011 at 22:43:20 via dtdc airway bill no-z36445555.

    My question is why the product is not delivered at time when the company shipping policy itself states that delivery time:- 5-6 working days from the order date.

    This has not only make me suffer rs. 350 but also peace of mind. Daily I think that today I will get my watch and at the end of the day I don't get it.

    Through mail correspondence with customer support of buyatbrands, I have asked many times that how are they going to compensate the loss which has incurred to me then they just apologize. Apology is not the solution of every thing.

    I was supposed to gift this watch to my best friend who flew to uk and will not come back before 2 years. But I couldn't because of no delivery of the product.
    This has given me lot of tension and after warning the website that I will take strong step against them, I am writing this on consumercourt.in hoping that this will resolve my issue and I will get my watch, peace of mind and extra free goodies which might compensate for the loss incurred to me.

    Please relieve me from this tension of not gifting my best friend at time.

    Default Apology for the delay

    Sir,

    We trust what you have written and understand the inconvenience that has been caused to you. Please note that in standard shipping the order is passed to a customer with a delivery commitment of 14 days (Refer to our payment page, delivery page). We got your payment on 22/04/2011 and we had shipped it late on 03/05/2011. The delay was caused due to overwhelming response of the offer for 90% off on UCB watch. The tracking ID of the product was Z36445555 and which was delivered to you within next 5 days.

    Please note that, afterwards we received a confirmation from you stating that the product is damaged and hence we told you to send back the product as we would be shipping a new piece all together.

    We are still waiting for your response on product shipment of damaged goods. You can still send that back to us and we will send you the item back.

    (NOTE: However, we dont accept damage claims after the parcel is delivered as damages are to be noted when a parcel is delivered and if found faulty, then it should have been returned to the courier person then and there. Kindly take this as our effort of resolving the issue. We will provide you with a new product when we get the damaged parcel back)
