    Angry Harassment after booking bus tickets on 3rd Oct'11 (NU25147914695043 & NU25147914694)

    Hi,

    I have been using MakeMyTrip.com’s services for a long time (mostly for flight booking), but I tried using the bus service booking to book my family’s tickets from Amritsar to Katra based on that, the tickets(4 in number) and the class(all sleeper class) were confirmed by MakeMyTrip.com. But on the travel day (03/10/2011)when I with my family went to board the Bhatia Travel/Star Travel’s bus from Amritsar to Katra, the Bhatia Travel’s travel agent said that there is no confirmation done by MakeMyTrip.com for the booking and in addition he said MakeMyTrip.com didn’t pay them any money. After a long fight and harassment for 2 hours he agreed to give us seats, which was not what I booked i.e sleeper, it was semi-sleeper seats for which I paid the price of sleeper tickets. When we asked for the difference amount from the travel agent, he said he still hasn’t received money from MakeMyTrip.com and hence he can’t give the difference amount from his pocket. Instead he said, he will ask the MakeMyTrip folks to transfer the extra amount to my account. Since mine was a connecting trip (from Katra to Manali the very next day) I had to stop all those discussion and allow my family some rest for the journey ahead.
    I just have few questions and would like to hear from your side:
    1. Why didn’t make my trip didn’t pay the travel agent, if I have paid where was my money?, of course the travel agent can’t be wrong as he is your partner.
    2. I have booked 4 tickets which included my parents, so if this things happens while booking through MakeMyTrip.com, should a consumer rely on your services (got a semi-sleeper seat for price of sleeper that too after 2hours of fight with the travel agent) ?
    3. We do not have a habit of travelling in semi-sleeper seats in bus while travelling for long distance, due to this my health was affected and I had to come back in between (I can show you proof if required)
    Please do let me know why this happened and what can be done about this (probably one thing you can’t do is get my holiday back and I thoroughly repent on choosing MakeMyTrip.com). My ticket IDs are- NU25147914695043 and NU25147914694879

    Default Cancellation Reference No: IN1111R0121898

    To The Irresponsible Managers,

    This is with reference to the Cancelling ID IN1111R0121898.

    I called into your customer care service on 24th Nov 2011, To cancel one of the tickets since there the Airline Company withdrew one of the fights..
    However they offered me another flight.. I Chose to cancel the same.

    I Spoke to Mr. Gyanendra, who informed me that the ticket is cancelled and I can expect a refund of Rs.3598 in the next 5 Working Days.

    I received my credit card statement to find that no refund has been proceed and its 28th Dec 2011.

    01. Once Again I called your incompetent customer service no with the cancellation ID. I Spoke to a so called Supervisor by Name Amandeep who informed that the systems are down and promised a call back with info.
    02. After 2 Hrs, Since no one called back I called back your customer service and spoke to Krithi, who offered help and said that the cancellation has been processed and I can expect the refund in 5 Business Days.
    Later I checked online to find that the cancellation has been processed today the 28th Dec 2011, and it was not processed on 24th Nov 2011.

    When I asked to explain why??? she HUNG UP ON MY FACE...

    03. I call back again as to know what is going on and why the transaction was not processed. I speak Navita & Subhobroto (Supervisor)...
    They once again repeat the same thing... That the refund has been processed...
    When I ask why it was not processed, no one seems to have an answer... ONCE AGAIN HE DISCONNECTS THE LINE.... I GET THE PHONE SLAPPED ON MY FACE..

    04. I thought that there was a line issue.. and the call got disconnected.. I CALLED BACK AGAIN..... This time I spoke to Nithin, who shouted at me asking for a booking ID when I asked for a Manager.
    He said there he is based and Delhi and previously I spoke to someone in Gurgaon. When I asked if he is from the cancellation department... He says Yes...
    Why is everyone passing the buck @ Cancellations department... Shame on the part of MAKE MY TRIP.. to have such inefficient customer service associates...
    Once when I insisted on speaking to a Manager..... He says that they do not have any Managers working at this point in time... and mind you it was 11am on the 28th Dec'2011..
    FINALLY THE MAGIC HAPPENS ONCE AGAIN....... THE AGENT DISCONNECTS THE LINE......

    INSPITE OF ALL THESE PEOPLE PROMISING CALL BACKS...... NO ONE HAS TAKEN THE INITIATIVE TO CALL ME BACK.

    This is the most in compliant, annoying, frustrating customer service experience....

    Now I have two Cancellation Reference Nos: IN1111R0121898 (24th Nov) / IN1112R0132820 (28th Dec)
    If the ticket was cancelled... why was the refund not processed under Cancellation Reference No: IN1111R0121898 (24th Nov)
    For the mistake of yours... THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY has charged interest of Rs.600.

    Hope someone responsible enough will revert.

    Note : This will be my last ever transaction with Make My Trip. I would never Dare refer or recommend any one…

    Default Complaint against MAKEMYTRIP & AIRINDIA

    This is with reference to my booking from JFK-Hyd on 3rd Nov 2011 and return trip on 3rd Jan 2012 from Hyd-JFK. Reservation ID YBLS2C

    My name is Vijaya Lakshmi Dasari.
    I had this worst/pathetic experience with AIRINDIA, booked through MAKEMYTRIP.
    I suppose Makemytrip is aware of the services provided by AIRINDIA and still are working with them.So this complaint goes to both.

    Flying with AIRINDIA was a pathetic experience. The tickets says that the return trip is on 3rd from Hyd-Bombay and Bombay-JFK.
    However, AIRINDIA takes its own pleasure in taking decisions of changing/re routing the flights from Bombay to Delhi and then Delhi to JFK.

    If this was said earlier while booking, then we would have booked some other flights rather than go with AIRINDIA.
    We do not enjoy going through 3 security checks midnight , taking a tour of India--- Hyd-Bombay, Bombay to Delhi midnight and the pathetic waiting times in Bombay and also the sick behaviour of the AIRINDIA staff on complaining.

    I dont know how this complaint will be dealt with, but I have taken a decision that I will never ever fly with AIRINDIA, nor book my flight with MAKEMYTRIP, this being the first and last deal.

    Hi,

    I was making a booking from Delhi to Pune from 7th feb 2012 and return 13th feb from Pune to Delhi.
    It said that flight details will be shown after the payment is made , it was makemytrip special flight.
    After I made the payment n money was deducted from my account, it said transaction failed.
    I made a payment of 8912 rs. n i did not get any money refund.
    Kindly let me know when I can get my money back.

    Angry Make My Trip - International Travel NO REFUND !!!

    Make My Trip International Ticket - We will never get the refund. They come up with stories - BE CAREFULL !!!

    I had booked international ticket from India (Bangalore - Melbourne) for my family. While booking - I was told it is One Year Open Ticket and when I wanted to DATE CHANGE - I was told it is not one year open ticket and I was asked to pay huge ticket difference (almost double the amount)

    I ended up cancelling the Ticket on December 6th. As of Today (Febraury 11th) - I have not recieved the refund.

    Everytime I call up they come out with stories. Initially I had provided my NRE SAVINGS A/C - They said they are having problems in transferring the amount.

    Next they asked my to provide my relative account - I provided my brothers SAVINGS A/C and still they have not processed the refund.

    SO FAR - I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MAKE MY TRIP THAT MY REFUND WILL BE PROCESSED WITHIN 72 HRS AND NUMEROUS EMAILS APOLOGISING FOR THE DELAY.

    I AM YET TO RECIEVE 1.65 LAKHS REFUNDS - SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT

    I WILL BE PROVIDING ALL THE DETAILS IN THIS POST SOON - YOU CAN'T JUST BELIEVE HOW MAKEMYTRIP MISLEAD US.

    I AM LOOKING AT THE OPTION OF TAKING LEGAL ACTION (NRI'S/US/UK - PLEASE REVERT BACK ME TO DISCUSS ABOUT THIS)

    Default Amount debited and not credited back

    Dear Sir,

    I am yet another consumer who is highly disappointed by the way Make my trip is responding to credit my money back.

    On 24th of January 2012 i tried booking a ticket from Mumbai to Chandigarh and back, due to some technical errors the ticket could not be booked, however the amount from my account got debited.

    I contacted Make my trip team and they agreed to the fact that there was some technical problem and that my amount will be credited within 7 days. However its been over 22 working days now and still my bank has not received any credit instructions from them.

    I request you to look into it and help me get my hard earned money credited back.

    Default complaint for lack of communication and wrong itin

    dear sir,
    with regret i have to say that i have booked my trip to munnar and had given to understand that 5 days 4 night stay will include one day at Alleppy and 4 days at Munnar.
    how ver in the eleventh hour we have been informed that the itinery includes Tekkdy, which we had said not to be included.
    we are sorry to say now at eleventh hr. we are continuous calling the number and are not able to get the right person to attend to our complaints and queries.
    Inspite of full payment in advance this type of careless behaviour towards the unsuspecting customer is far from professional and amount in breach in contract,deficiency in service and harrasement.
    Kindly immediately attend to our complaints.

    Default deduction of money from account without issue of ticket

    dear sir

    1 on 08 aug 2012 an amount of Rs 7970 was deducted from my account by make my trip with no issue of ticket, as i didnt received any confirmation in my mail or phone number.

    2 contacted there staff, was told ticket not issued, money will be returned within 3 days, since then i am waiting for my money to return.
