This is Jayabalan A. I had booked a flight ticket from trivandrum to chennai for 24th Aug 2010. The same ticket was cancelled on 23rd Aug. And while cancelling the ticket after subtracting the cancellation fee and make my trip charges, a refund amount of 6837 was commited. I have also got a mail from Make my trip confirming the same. Then when i checked my account i had received a amount of 1967. From then on I have called make my trip customer care more than 7 times and every time i get to hear that "It was a mistake from our side, problem with the application, we wwill send a mail to the concerned department and the refund will be credited in 4-5 business days. And i get one reference number for the same. But nothing happpens i will land up calling the next time to heaar the same. When i ask for a supervisor, i only get to hear that we dont have any superviosr on floor? Is this how a customer has to be treated?
Does the customer have to wait for 90 days to get his refund back?does ur application has error for 90 days?Every time the customer service person says that he is escalting this case for refund, so whats happening to those escalations?Why should the customer pay the interest for the amount that is pending because of your application or system issues?
Its sad to see such a response from Make my trip. Hope some one will look into this
