Hi,
I ordered Rakhi from gifts-to-india.com on 8th Aug. They mentioned it will
be deliverd in 3-4 days.
When it was not delivered till 17th Aug, I followed up by calling on the Contact
number on the website. After 2-3 tries I got through and the agent informed that
they tried to deliver it on 11th but since nobody was present to collect parcel
it is undelivered.
Then they mentioned that they will redeliver it at my mentioned time. Still it
was not deliverd till 24th AUg.
When again sent mail to them, I got call from them and they told me that "Parcel
is undelivered as the address mentioned is not correct. If I want I can order
something else."
No they are even refusing to refund the money as it was a perishable item. When
I asked them as why they are informig about the wrong address after 20 days and
why not on 11th when they delivered on 11th, the person hanged up the call.
Can someone please tell me if I can go to Consumer Court for the frauds in
Online Transactiona. How can I punish this people. I'm not even sure whether or
not they tried to deliver or simply thet took money and now saying address is
wrong trying to fool.
Any information about this would be helpful.
