    Default Reliance Netconnect Broadband Service not activated even after 15days

    I purchased a reliance netconnect broad band data card trough their online purchase facility. I made the payment online and got the data card on 31st of march 2009. but, I found, the service for my data card was not activated. I registered a complaint with their custmoer care but, even after that nothing has been done. It is absolutely unacceptable. I hope there must be some way to teach them a lesson about better customer service.

    Unhappy my netconnect broadband+ service is blocked ...

    i brought a reliance net connect broadband + modem for 3500 . after 15 days the service was blocked on thefake pretance that required documents have not been submitted.i call many times there customer care and the dealer from which i brought the modem but to no use.

    is there any way to complain about these fraudster companies and make other guys aware of there deeds?

    Angry Complaint Regarding Reliance Data Card Against JK Associates, Ghaziabad

    Hi Sir/Mam,
    This is the complaint against "JK Associates, Ghaziabad" regarding "Reliance CDMA 1x" Data Card.
    Now I am going to tell you from the beginning. I was having need of a data card. So I called just dial. After that I received a call from Ms. Ritika from "JK associates", Ghaziabad. She told me that they are providing "Reliance CDMA 1x" Hi speed Data card in Rs.1600 with free Unlimited subscription of two months and after that reliance will charge me Rs.799 per month. Also she told me that the speed of the data card will be from 256-512kbps. I never heard of the speed of 256-512kbps in normal Data card. so I ask her for a Demo. She told me that there executive will come and give you a Demo. After that when I ask that what will You need in documents, then she told me that she needs two passport size photographs and a copy of address proof. I told her that I don't have my local residence proof. I have my permanent address proof which is of Rewari(Haryana).Then she told me its ok. As you are purchasing a Data card and you can use it anywhere in all over India. The only thing is that your billing will be on that permanent address. I said no problem. Now when executive came on 11th november I ask him for a Demo. Then he said that this Data card is packed one and right now it is not activated. As soon as your document will verify it will be activate. Then I again call in "JK Associates". Again Ms. Ritika told me that it will activate by tomorrow and if you don't like it we will return your money. I Said ok. then I purchased it by giving him Rs.1600.
    On the next day I again receive a call from ms Ritika(Jk Associates). now she told me that she also need my local address proof. I said, I already told you that I don't have my local address proof. then she said me that do something. I am asking only for you. because if you wouldn't submit then your data card will not be activate. then I said please return my money that. then she said there is no such kind of policy. then I told her that from past three years I was in Faridabad and I have a bank account on that Faridabad's address. Then I send a scan copy of my Passbook to Ms. Ritika. Again the address verification went negative because right now I am living in Gurgaon.
    Now I am going to tell you the Frauds that they done.

    1. The speed of Data Card is up to 153kbps which is also written on the Data Card.
    2. As I told you about address proof.
    3. Not ready to return my money.
    4. I also came to know from reliance customer care that there is no free subscription of two months. You have to pay the bill from first month itself.[/FONT]


    Now I again called Jk Associates. This time I talked with their senior Mr. Shoray. I told him everything. then he said that the case was not in his knowledge. He request me to give 48 hours and he will activate my Data card. also he said that Ms. Ritika has been already fired. I have all the recordings of calls with Mr. Shoray and all the proofs. Please do something. My Data Card is still not activated. I have spent my lot of time and money in phone calls. I also have done complaint in reliance customer care. They gave me the complaint number. But no response from there side. The contact numbers that JK associates used in calling are 0120-3128539,9312213693 and 9312194516.

    Hello Sunny Yadav ji,

    Let me clear you one thing that verbal commitment stands no where, at the time of purchase have you read any broucher that shows that the speed you get is nearly 256-512, as all of we know that the sale team may add some fruitful commitment but when you paid for that all the commitments gone away, I advise to all the consumer court members that always read the terms & condition and policy document before taking any product/services.

    As this is the fault from the sales team, and reliance stands no where, so I suggest you to send a written notice to the JK Associates, Ghaziabad, mention all the details in it and ask them for the full refund else you will drag them to the consumer forum for giving false promises.

    First of all really thanks for your reply and yes, i have sent a written notice to JK Associates.
    Now i want to ask something. You said verbal commitment stands nowhere. I said ok. but if they know all the things like "Data Card will not be activate until I do not have my local residence proof" then why they sold me the Data Card. is it not a proof of Fraud. Because according to the rule they should sold me the data card only when I have my local residence proof.
    And one more thing, in next few days if i do not have any reply of written notice from there side then what to do?

    Hello,

    Sending notice to the OP is the basic formality before going to the Consumer Forum. And if the OP do not respond to the notice with in the mention time of 15-20 days then you can file a case against them in the consumer forum.
