The offer shows attractive features in Mobile phone and I was overwhelmed with joy if could have such a product with such a reasonable price.

Product ordered for Amt 6189/- paid via HDFC Credit Card, and thus received on 29 April,2010 and after using it I found so many discrepancy and malfunction.

I registered a complaint over phone and email to Customer Care of Indiatimes Shopping.
But no response till date 5, May,2010. Then they advise me to reverse the order and will refund after courier back to company. Cancellation Complaint number given 24967 (given over phone by CCE of indiatimes shopping). The CCE also told me that I can get refund of it as I found it defective.

I courier back it via TNT Courier (same by which Order shipped) with Pick UP no: 292549 and Account Code 55959 as given by Indiatimes for Reverse Pickup for defective mobile.

However, the case was gone to Replacement of product .....
And today, 12 May, 2010 I received back the SAME PHONE WITH NO REPLACEMENT / NO CHANGE OF ANY PART / NO REFUND.

Now the Phone service staff of Indiatimes not responding to my Grievance and not giving me REFUND or Replacement of Faulty Phone.

Please look over the Matter and provide me help to resolve the issue.

I am writing another post in hope for the Administrator and other members to view and do the needful at the earliest..

Now I am here updating the info further as done so far:

I had returned back the Defective and fake mobile set on 13/05/2010 by TNT courier via Docket no: DO 480 188 802 WW

After this also a phone Conference with Seller and Indiatimes Executive done and I found seller not know completely the issue sent by me on EMAIL to Indiatimes. After a week, on 19/05/2010, I again registered a complaint over phone picked up by Mr. MOHIT (CCE of indiatimes) at 4:35PM and he gave a REFUND PROCESS NO: 270450 and advised me to wait for next 6 days as it is now under process.

On 25/05/2010 I again called Indiatimes Customer care picked up by Mr. PRASHANT at 10:35 AM. He told me to wait for 27/05/2010 as two days are non-working day in the week(Saturday and sunday).

But now today 31/05/2010 I had no response from their end, neither by email nor a phone call.. so I call them back and get talked with Mr. ASHWANI at 04:15 pm, he advised me to wait for next 48hours and your case will be resolved and money will be refunded.

I am waiting for their response and hope if they are able to keep their promise.

Also I forgot to mention in my earlier POST that I had also sent a written notice to the CMD of India Times Shopping via registered post on 24/05/2010.

But I include only my grievance and refund there not calculate the actual money to be refunded. Please assist me further as per need.

Since view on some other post:

After 3 months from the date of purchase in the end of June month, the issue is seems to be settled down after receiving the replacement of phone.
Some features are now repaired and working fine. IMEI number indicated seems to be legit. Battery last after 3-4 hours and during use takes 2 hrs. Camera still VGA but both are working now. FM Recording working.

However, Java games are not working which I have seen running fine in previous phone.

Now I am not going interrupt anymore or would not buy any items in future from Shopping center of Indiatimes.com
It is clear from TERMS and CONDITIONS that they will not going to refund for such issues.

I had ordered a Kitchen Dicer order number is 112576285. We received the Dicer yesterday i.e 10.09.2010. On opening the delivery product we were shocked to find the following.
1. Completely broken Dicer.
2. Torn and tattered packing.
3. Pilfered product.
4. No working manual.
5. Price tag removed.

This product was advertised in the India times esteemed daily newspaper and considering the fact that India times is a renowned Brand we never thought twice before ordering the product. But we never had the slightest of idea that we will receive a pilfered product. Even the dicer is made of plastic which has the possibility of getting broken during its use. We are extremely flabbergasted after receiving this type of service from India times and vow not to shop any more. I will also let all my friends know about this type of poor service rendered by IndiaTimes shopping division and urge them never to book any product under this banner. I will put forward my complaints all over the grievances addressing mechanism available over net and ensure that the propaganda ensures a fair deal for others. On seeing the product it appears that this product had been in a store for long (extremely poor torn tattered packaging) and also reminds the goods available in Delhi footpath. I have lost Rs 1389/- but will ensure that neither of my friends and relatives get duped in this type of online shopping. Removing the price tag from the product proves the audacity of the Online shopping to directly dupe customers in organized manner. It was also given that the guarantee is for 3 months. Kindly ensure the immediate removal and replacement of this faulty product and ensure that others are not duped in this online shopping. My further queries:

1. How can a dicer and mixer be of plastic costing @1389.
2. If the product was delivered intact also how can one operate the same.
3. Why in the advertisement it was not mentioned that this is a plastic product whereas in the market we find mixer made of steal.

I had bought a HTC Verizon Phone from India Times in the last week of May.
The battery failed to work after 5-6 days of usage. I am constantly following up onemails , but there is NO REPLY from there end.
They have not even sent a proper bill which gives me the feeling that they are buying things that are outdated , defunct and passing them to unwary customers. If they have bought it legally from an authorised shop, why can they not give the bill. I have paid Rs. 5999.00 plus 299.00 as handling chargees.
Such cheats should not be allowed to trade on the Internet especially spoiling the name of the country by using the word India in their website.

Please tell me what needs to bring these people to the law and I will do it
