    Thumbs down ONLINE CHEATING AND SCAM BY BAGITTODAY an INDIA TODAY Group shopping website

    BAGITTODAY.com registered me as a customer with my e-mail address :drilling@bol.net.in and membership no. ITBC 10235416 and sent me e-mails offering various products under huge discounts. Being a shopping website of INDIA TODAY GROUP, I placed an order no. 0GA 100002511 on 01 February 2010 for Benetton ladies Wallet and Belt set and paid Rs 999/= by using my Citi Bank Credit Card. The offer also included that this being my first purchase from BAGITTODAY they shall also give a Reebok Wrist watch absolutely free. The promised delivery of the product was to be made within 3-4 weeks. However, when more than two months elapsed I started contacting the customer care at their telephone no. 40502424 and spoke to many of their executives, at interval of 7-8 days ( Mr. Kuldeep, Mr. Pawan, Ms Jagriti, Ms Prachi, Mr.Bala, Mr. Arun, Mr. Rashid Hulak ( Sr. Executive), Mr. Neeraj and finally Mr. Adiel Asgar. First of all they told me that the packet containing my goods has returned Undelivered due to wrong address provided by me. When I told them that this is absolute nonsense, because firstly my house is never locked, secondly I used to receive minimum3-4 couriers everyday at the same address without any difficutly and thirdly the address provided is complete and is situated in a very renowned and post area of Rohini, Delhi. Upon this they asked me provide nearby landmark for the address for which I provided them with 2 famous nearby landmarks and they promised to send the packet once again. When I did not receive the packet, I contacted them again and asked them to provide me the depatch details alongwith the courier name and consignment no., they told me that the same is not available. After that despite exchange of various e-mails, promises from customer care executives the product is not received till date. On 19th April 2010 when Mr. Arun let me spoke to their Sr. Executive Mr. Rashid Hulak, I was informed that all the despatches were dummy despatches and that is why they do not have any shipping details. Actually they do not have the product in stock. Mr. Rashid suggested me to send them an e-mail, requesting theirein to CANCELL the order. I told him that as per terms and conditions, I cannot cancel the order, and even if I do, as suggested by Mr. Rashid, they shall forfeit my entire money. To this he has no answer.

    By all the above misleading, deceitful gesture clearly with the intention of cheating people, on the part of BAGITTODAY, a shopping website of INDIA TODAY GROUP, I am seeking your help to get the problem resolved by either delivery of the product or refund of my hard earned money. Bagittoday has their Customer care division at INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB, B-47, Indira Enclave, Neb Sarai, New Delhi – 110 068.

    Dear Friends,

    Please read the following correspondance i made with Bag it today for the last one month. They have offered me one lakhs worth of diamond jewellery. based on the executive advice i have ordered a sony expedia mobile woth rs.28,000/- through my credit card. i have received the mobile one month later and not the diamond jewellery as informed by the executive. Till date i am sending mail and contacting over phone but no proper response. They are telling that "No stock of jewellery voucher". Kindly help me to get the product from them.

    This is to inform you that i have received a call from Bagittoday - Delhi (India Today Book club) last month regarding free gift worth One lakhs of diamond jewellery voucher.

    More than one month passed till date i have not received the diamond voucher. So many time i call to your customer care number but no response.

    As per your customer care executive instruction i have bought a Sony Expedia Mobile and Reebok track shit worth of Rs.28,000/- through my credit card. For the same i have received both the product by courier last week.

    I have made a complaint against my free gift voucher to your customer care executive on 11/08/2010. He said that with in 3 working days we will get back to you. But till now no one called me from your side. Today morning i made a call, but the same story he is telling.

    At the time of first call by your customer care officer, He said that we will send you the diamond voucher to your mail ID and you can take the printout and you can buy gold or diamond jewellery in nearest jewellery shop which is listed in the mail. But later your customer care officer told me that you can buy the diamond jewellery through on line purchase with Surathdiamond.com I have made a inquiry with surat diamond . They are telling that we have to pay the part amount for every jewellery purchase. This is the controversy statement which your executive told to me.

    YOU CAN CHECK MY CONVERSATION WITH YOUR EXECUTIVE.

    Kindly clear all the matter with in two day's from the date of receipt of this mail to avoid legal action.

I ordered lcd 32'' samsung tv.they said they will send tv and gold vouchers within two weeks.i paid money for tv.today they are asking 15000 rupees more. I am suspecting whether they are cheating me.let them give back 31.598 rupees to me. I dont want tv or gift.PLEASE help meto get back my money.prema.

    i)Received Item No.P1327 (Philips Micro Theatre)& K0443(Kodac C-180) on 08.07.2010, in lieu of Advance payment for Rs.23698( vide Invoice No. ORA100017753 dated 29.06.2010.Unique No.169083515A100017753 for claiming free gifts as and diamond voucher for Rs.70, 000/- ( No.IB1100930922) against my unique No.as quoted in the subject matter.About 2 months has already been passed till today on 01.09.2010.But Vouchers which was approved on 19.08.2010 not received in my email as spoken with your executive Miss Hina on11.08.2010, 20.08.2010, 24.08.2010, 25.08.2010;Mr Vikram on 23.08.2010, Balkrishna Rao on18.08.2010 and 01.09.2010;Deepak on 27.08.2010 and 31.08.2010;Prashant on 01.09.2010.
    ii)Vide order No.4400341290, booked 22"Samsung LCD Colour TV, by paying Rs.17699/-through HDFC Bank Credit Card, To cancel the order due to domestic reasons beyond control, and it was requested to credit Rs.17699/-against HDFC Credit Card Account immediately.The Order was cancelled on 23.07.2010 But till date Rs.17699 not credited in my account.and every time above executive give misleading information.
    iii)Holiday package for Rs.7000/-order No.440032613 cancelled due to domestic reasons, cancellation order No.594394, but till date Rs.7000/-not credited in my HDFC Credit Card account.executive when contacted give misleading information.
    All the above cases are worst examples of frauds and cheating by executives of India today Group.
    Once again I the undernamed request for immediate action from your end please to avoid further legal action.

    Above is true. I ordered Adidas Shoes and they returned the parcel saying that address was not correct. After many requests I am still struggling to get the dispatch. I am lodging complaint against them under IPC 420 for cheating and fraud.

    There are several (almost 30 ) mails exchanged and now i am starting to realize that this company is fraud and India Today itself is running is fraud.

    i GOT A CALL FROM SMITA FROM BAGITTODAY. wHEN I DENIED THE OFFER SHE STARTED USING ABUSIVE LANGUAGE & SAID SHUT UP & BANGED THE PHONE.

    [This is about Naaptol.com they are cheating with people Please do not buy any thing from this website, I had given an order after continuous chase with them for delivery ...they have not provided clear information after taking ,money from my credit card they said my verification is not done, later after providing my PAN card copy and Credit card Statement they said verification is done and order processed later they updated status as verification failed, I have lost my money and even not received my money.. Will wait for another 3 days then will file FIR for Internet Fraud,

    Bagitoday is a big cheat house.Please dont buy any thing from this firm.I have ordered camcorder from this firm.Even after five months I am not getting the ordered item.Almost 30 email and numerous complain on customer care number were made but the stereotype reply is we are sending or address is not correct. I even asked to give the name of the manager of this fraud business so that I may lodge a FIR but that is also not being informed.If any body knows the name of this dacoit please post it on this site so that proper treatment is given to him
