    Default Indiatimes.com - just not interested in refunding money

    This is in regards to my order placed with Indiatimes.com onm 19 Jan 2010.
    Order number: 112156959

    The same order got rejected on 3 Feb 2010 due to reason product being out of stock.

    Firstly they took so long to inform me that my order got cancelled, secondly after i called them up they sent an email stating the same.

    I requested them to refund my money in the same way in which i had made my payment, and not to send a Gift Certificate to me, because i wud not like to do any transactions with Indiatimes in the future.

    On 23 Feb 2010, I again called them up and got an answer that my request is being forwarded to the concerned department and they will send a Gift certificate. I told them not to send a Gift certificate as requested earlier, but my request fell on deaf ears. Then i spoke to the floor supervisor Mr. Ashwini, and he assured me that my money will be refunded to my bank a/c in next 3-5 working days.

    On 4 March 2010, again called them to check and got same answer and asked me to wait for another 24 hours and i will be getting a call from the customer care department.

    Today, i.e. 9 March 2010, i again spoke to the floor supervisor Mr. Surjeet, and he appologised to me and asked me to wait for another 24-48 hours.

    This is really pathetic. The amount of money spent on making calls to customer care is getting nearer to my order amount.

    ritesh,
    that is exactly like the issue i have with indiatimes. they first give GC and when we ask them to refund back to our credit card they just dont want to refund at all.

    my issue has been dragged from 1/2/2010. i even held the call to them for almost 2 hours without any success! INDIATIMES SHOPPING SUCKS!

    Hello there,
    I am also the victim of indiatimes.com. I bought 2 split A.C.s worth rs. 37,000/-.
    Which they havn't delivered me yet after 20 working days.

    It is no avail talking to the customer care.
    Can u plz give me the phone no.(If u have) of the floor supervisor or anybody concerned with the whole website?

    my booking no.202006271555183 and order no.112428246 of original xtreme x1 mobile send for replacement and as per complaint no.586931 was informed by ms.vivek on 5\1\11 that mobile is not available so money will be refundable within 48 hour but till date no response \refund recieved.
