This is in regards to my order placed with Indiatimes.com onm 19 Jan 2010.
Order number: 112156959
The same order got rejected on 3 Feb 2010 due to reason product being out of stock.
Firstly they took so long to inform me that my order got cancelled, secondly after i called them up they sent an email stating the same.
I requested them to refund my money in the same way in which i had made my payment, and not to send a Gift Certificate to me, because i wud not like to do any transactions with Indiatimes in the future.
On 23 Feb 2010, I again called them up and got an answer that my request is being forwarded to the concerned department and they will send a Gift certificate. I told them not to send a Gift certificate as requested earlier, but my request fell on deaf ears. Then i spoke to the floor supervisor Mr. Ashwini, and he assured me that my money will be refunded to my bank a/c in next 3-5 working days.
On 4 March 2010, again called them to check and got same answer and asked me to wait for another 24 hours and i will be getting a call from the customer care department.
Today, i.e. 9 March 2010, i again spoke to the floor supervisor Mr. Surjeet, and he appologised to me and asked me to wait for another 24-48 hours.
This is really pathetic. The amount of money spent on making calls to customer care is getting nearer to my order amount.
