    Unhappy Farud by ebay seller (CPU Fan)

    Respected Sir,
    This is to bring in your kind notice in regards to my compliant against eBay India. I am a big fan of eBay; however my trust was shattered with the recent purchase I made with eBay. Recently I purchased “COOLER MASTER CPU FAN,LGA 775 FOR PINLESS MOTHERBOARD” with Item number: 330667014720 from eBay Website.

    Now as per the URL the Product features are
    SPECIFICATIONS:-
    * Fan: 95 x 25.5mm
    * Fan Speed: 0~4200 ~10%rpm
    * Fan Airflow: 71.5 CFM (Max.)
    * Air pressure (mmH2O): 7.1mmH20
    * Fan Life Expectancy: 40000hrs
    * Bearing Type: Rifle Bearing
    * Voltage: 12V
    * Fan Noise Level (dB-A): 19 dBA
    * Connector: 4 pin
    I got interested in the Product and placed the Order for the same and was so excited for the Product. I got the Product was shocked to see that the Product was of extremely pathetic quality. Then I went ahead and fitted the same in my Computer. Then again I was shocked when I tested the Fan and found out that this holy piece of crap cannot run more than 2000 RPM (As per the website it should run at 4200 RPM). I immediately shared the negative feedback and fortunately got email from the Seller / Vendor to remove the negative feedback and he will send me the new one. As per his email the new fan will have 4 pin and would run around at 4200 RPM, he also shared the Model Number CI5-9HDSF-PL-GP and benchmark of the fan (Probably copied from the Cooler master’s website, well no issues with that), now as per his email I went ahead and updated the comments and the seller also shipped me the new one.
    Two days back I got the new one and was again surprised to see that on cover of the fan it was clearly mentioned that the Fan will run at 2200 RPM apart from the below mentioned features:
    Heat Sink Dimensions ø85 x 35 mm
    Fan Dimension ø95 x 25mm
    Speed (R.P.M.) 2200±10%
    Air Flow (CFM) 30.67 (Max.)
    Voltage 12 VDC
    Notice 22 dBA (Min.)
    Model Number DI5-9HDSL-0L-GP
    When I checked at manufacturer’s website, they manufacture both the models but have huge difference in them
    Request you to please go through with the complete email and technical specification on (Manufacturers Website)

    I simply don’t understand how someone can do this on eBay. The Seller himself mentioned in the email that he would be sending me the “CI5-9HDSF-PL-GP” Model. You show on the eBay page that you would send the Quality Product and what you actually ship is entirely different product. It’s like fooling people or I should say it’s like a fraud.
    Never anticipated in my dreams also that this thing happens on eBay, it’s my humble request to you please look into this matter and resolve the issue at earliest. I have at most trust in the eBay Management. I would like to have the CPU Fan as per the description on the EBay Webpage. Please don’t ask me to get the refund. The Features on the EBay page are of CI5-9HDSF-PL-GP

    Hi,

    I purchased sony erricson xperia mini pro on 19th Jan 2012 and i received the phone on 28th of Jan (PaisaPay ID 30701326483) and I requested for a refund as the phone was not getting charged properly and the keypad was faulty for eg when I used to type A it used to write Q and so on with the other kys as well. When I oredered this phone my old phone wasnt working once I got the phone I gave the phone to someone and now when I am asking for the refund ebay is asking to return the phone which I am ready to do as I am not interested to carry a phone which is not working properly and after every hr it needs to be charged and the back panel as well as the handsfree is also duplicate however all that I am asking for is to refund my money so that I can buuy another phone and return this one. Incase I return the phone I will be without the phone and since thats the only point of contact I will not be able to stay without it. I aslo gave them an option where they can send someone to pick it up and once they have it immediately they can refund my money so that I can buy the phone same day.
    I also asked for email addresses where I can register my complaint but there was none given to me. As a customer I am facing do much of inconvenience as I paid for a good product and I got a faulty product which is not working and have to suffer because of ebay as they are not ready to settle the case until I send the phone back which is not possible till they do not refund the money. It is because of ebay that I got a faulty product. They should chekc what kind of sellers they have registered. I will solely blame ebay for the product that I have received and also for the inconvenience I am going through. It is almost an haraasment for me when I am contacting them again and again and upon asking for a manager or a supervisor I was sent a mail to send the phone back in 5 days otherwise the money will not be refunded and given to the seller.It is all because of ebay I have to suffer that they cannot take care of there customers.
    I am also being charged for the EMI that I have set up with my bank and also for the courier as well as convenience charge for setting up the same.

    This might help you if it is within 30 days... You need to raise the claim from ebay page itself..... Check your pm...

    Dear Sir,
    I purchased a DELL Streak mini 5 LCD Display+Touch through global buy ebay, ID: GEB - 270792618970 (380396372157) on 23-Dec-11. I received the item in broken condition, therefore i raised a resolution center complaint (ID: 72682). Till now nothing has been done to resolve the issue and they have closed the case without my permission. I have called your call center 3-4 times for this issue but in vain as nothing has been done till now. I would request you to please look into the matter and provide me the refund. Now i don't need a replacement as I am totally fed up of the system. This purchase has led to a very bad experience with ebay. I have written 3 mails till now even sent few photograph but no response.

    Hey guys definitely you have faced some problem in dealing through ebay.in but let me tell you I am purchasing from ebay.in/ebay.com/globalebay since last 5 years and never found any considerable problem with. If a seller not delivers the item or delivers a wrong/defective item you can not blame ebay. Practically I faced difficulties in every deal on sites other then ebay. And the worse and most cheating is Timtara.com. I make several purchase from ebay.com also and found their international delivery proper also.

    The buyers side is always heavy until and unless the payment is released from PaisaPay. Let me give you some friendly tips to shop safely with ebay .

    1. Never make payment in any other way then PaisaPay because in that case ebay do not have any provision to protect your money. You may try Cash On Delivery but your gift coupons will not work.

    2. Be sure about the item condition (New/Used/Refurbished/ not specified) if found not specified please ask the seller before make payment.

    3. Engage the delivery man and open the packet while receiving the item and check and receive if found in order otherwise refuse to accept and you can do it as it will be at your place.

    4. Try to go for discount voucher rather then free gift (i.e. if you have a 5% discount voucher and a free gift worth Rs.500.00 try to go for the cash discount as it is in you control)

    5. The most impotent thing if you found any issue immediately give a strong negative feedback, deny that you have received the item and send it back to the seller immediately. I repeat never acknowledge the item received and hold it until you are being satisfied by the material.

    Please try this tips and you definitely be satisfied with ebay.in

    Everyone has been defrauded by sellers on ebay at some point or the other. And it seems ebay couldn't care less.

    I had purchased Mobile from Ebay. Within one month it malfunctioned and giving hell of trouble. I reported this matter to Ebay. Ebay responded that they are not responsible and told to contact to vendor directly. I contacted vendor and he told to send the mobile to his place (Kolkata, Mr. Prabhu Sarwagi From Sales India). I thought I will try nearest mobile care center as it was in warranty. When I visited the mobile care I was shocked by hearing that the mobile is china made and not genuine and we are not giving warranty / services for such a mobile. So I had to send this mobile to vendor place. After sending the mobile vendor had confirmed that he had received the same with battery and will send back to me when ever it will be repaired. I had sent this mobile before 10 month but still he didn't sent it back to me. Even now he is not lifting the mobile or replying to mail.

    Ebay and this people had cheated me. I bought this mobile by my hard earn money and they looted.

    Ebay is so irresponsible, they don't have any care for customer. And ebay vendor sales India is so pathetic.

    I don't know, whether I will get my mobile back or not? I think never.

    Pl. beware any electronic Item from Ebay and think twice. You will get better such thing in low price any where else.

    Also confirm that the product is genuine and warranty is available in all over India, not at vendor place.
