Dear Admin,
My complaint goes something like this;
On 30 Sept 2009 I had ordered a samsung mobile from India today book club (order ref 440009728) over the phone and was promised the delivery of the same in 14 working days along with a holiday package.The money (Rs 9498/=) was deducted from my credit card on the same day. Since then there is no news of the Samsung Mobile or the Holiday package. I had attempted to call the help line a number of times but found that after the initial automated response you are put on a perpetuall hold and as a result I have wasted my precious time and money on STD calls. Any attempt on the internet by email puts you through a bunch of unprofessionals , who mail you that your complaint had been put to the concerned dept and will revert to you when they hear from them with no specifics of the estimated time when they will get back. The level of insensitivity is so much so that the response mail subject contains a line citing it as ' Suspected Spam’. On my own I had given them seven days to resolve the issue however so far they have not reverted to me yet even after ten days.
I had another bad experience when in one of the prior orders when I was delivered a track suit of a different color that I had not asked for. However with much haggling after convincing them to go through their recorded transcript of the conversation while making the order, I was able to convince them to take back the product but I never attempted that as I knew that it will take its own sweet time for a refund if at all it took place. But this time I am determined to take this case to a logical conclusion.
Please advise me on the next course of action to get a refund at the earliest.I am Attaching my credit card statement (the document open pass word is ajma1011)as I have no other documentary proof as the order was placed on the phone.

Hello Please be sensitive enough to my complaint.In your reply to the previous mail you have mentioned in the subject line as : "RE: [Suspected Spam] - RE: - Non receipt Of Samsung Mobile Parcel And Holiday Offer" (How insensitive ! ) This inspite of me providing you with all the relevent details to the complaint.How Much more are you thinking of pushing me to the wall ! More over you have coppied a previous mail with out acknowledging my other request regardig the promotional SMS/Tele call. Any way I have decided to wait for one more week before initiating my next step and I can assure you that it would not be a pleasent experiance.This chain of mail further vindicates my stand that there is no professionallism in your organisation.I wonder what is the qualification/authority/position held by the person who is replying to me.So much so for your work ethics.

Please do some home work before responding.It seems there is no policy existing at India today book club.Please go through the chain of mail wherein I have sent you the card statement from the web site of the ICICI banks web site which Is better than any scaned copy at its best and you seemed satisfied then.Iam surprised that you started to reinvent the wheel once again by asking for the scaned copy which is not understood by the undersigned.Please put me through to somebody responsible.Every time I find someone new responding to my mail and being damn silly.I wonder weather the right hand knows what the left hand is doing at living media (which seems on a dying mode )or is it a methodology of duping the gullible customer.I promise not to have anything to do with India today in future.I am aready contemplating to initiate legal action through consumer court if I dont' get a satisfactory reply and if my money is not refunded at the earliest.Further You are directed to stop sending me promotional sms or making any promotional Telephone calls henceforth.
