    Default Send wrong product by INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB

    Dear Sir,

    From India Today Book Club my brother given order for a watch of Rs 499/- belongs to BENETTON Company.He given this order since he got this offer through SMS from India Today Book Club.But the company send a watch of Reebock Company through post ,since it was well packed we was not able to identify the product inside we given the cash at post office and accepted the parcel.After reaching at hope and opening the box only we came to know that the watch is not of the company which we given order.Several times i and my brother called to their Customer care but failed to connect with customer representative since representative busy in attending another call.So pointing these things i send mail to them.Below are those mails.For each mail they given different replay.First they told they send another piece of Benetton company,another time they told they have no stock then later they repeated the watch is send.Atlast they told that to send back the old piece then they ready to refund.I request you to go through the below mail (read from bottom to up) and please replay what i have to do.

    Thumbs down refund-india today book club -samsung mobile/holiday package

    Dear Admin,
    My complaint goes something like this;
    On 30 Sept 2009 I had ordered a samsung mobile from India today book club (order ref 440009728) over the phone and was promised the delivery of the same in 14 working days along with a holiday package.The money (Rs 9498/=) was deducted from my credit card on the same day. Since then there is no news of the Samsung Mobile or the Holiday package. I had attempted to call the help line a number of times but found that after the initial automated response you are put on a perpetuall hold and as a result I have wasted my precious time and money on STD calls. Any attempt on the internet by email puts you through a bunch of unprofessionals , who mail you that your complaint had been put to the concerned dept and will revert to you when they hear from them with no specifics of the estimated time when they will get back. The level of insensitivity is so much so that the response mail subject contains a line citing it as ' Suspected Spam’. On my own I had given them seven days to resolve the issue however so far they have not reverted to me yet even after ten days.
    I had another bad experience when in one of the prior orders when I was delivered a track suit of a different color that I had not asked for. However with much haggling after convincing them to go through their recorded transcript of the conversation while making the order, I was able to convince them to take back the product but I never attempted that as I knew that it will take its own sweet time for a refund if at all it took place. But this time I am determined to take this case to a logical conclusion.
    Please advise me on the next course of action to get a refund at the earliest.I am Attaching my credit card statement (the document open pass word is ajma1011)as I have no other documentary proof as the order was placed on the phone.

More over you have coppied a previous mail with out acknowledging my other request regardig the promotional SMS/Tele call. Any way I have decided to wait for one more week before initiating my next step and I can assure you that it would not be a pleasent experiance.This chain of mail further vindicates my stand that there is no professionallism in your organisation.I wonder what is the qualification/authority/position held by the person who is replying to me.So much so for your work ethics.

    This is totally un-professionalism :D

    I think we have to make a consumer group against India Times, they are looting people, I saw times of india news paper and always see some mobile phone ads, they mentioned that mobile which cost rs. 14000/- is now of 1500/-, and reader order them, after receiving they found that it is a cheap chines mobile which you can buy in 900/- from the local market.

    Now I told my newspaper man to change to hindustan, this is my way to bycaat and hope all of us form a group and buycaat all those companies who are looting inocent customer.
