    Default online fraud by indiatimes.com

    dear sir/madam,

    i am serving in the armed forces and am also the latest in the affected list of indiatimes fraud list,

    i had booked acouple of items through indiatimes.com.on 21 aug 2009....however they could deliver only 2 items...rest were not accepted by me since they were substandard and were returned the same day.one of the items was not delivered by the company..everytime i call them up, they say that we are processing your case and in 6 working days, your problem will be sorted out..but there is no response...i have also checked up online and found that this is their standard mail and reply....and another saying that your call was not available...which has been sent to many a customers..

    request advise me on this regard and also help me in getting my money back which is rs 7000/

    i have the tele records, audio records of talk with customer care,

    i had also marked a copy of the mail to admin@consumercourt.in today as well as on 20 october 2009.

    1. i had placed an order on number 111806770 .

    2. I had cancelled the order since the item recieved at my end was of wrong pattern/defective.

    3. cancellation numbrer was 1244992.

    4. i have alraedy spent a lot of money calling up on indiatimes customercare helpline.

    5. the money that has to be refunded is digital car MP3 players (02nos), jewel combo (one) , both from the same merchant.

    6. I am also seeking re-imbursement of my money which pertains to the antivirus which was not shipped at all by the merchant also in the same order.

    7. I sincerely request you to kindly repay my money.I am just a normal army guy who is serving the intrests of the nation and not at all a man with lot of money.

    8 I have already spent a lot of money on telephone calling up customer care numbers.

    9. I have also sent 2 mails to icare@indiatimes.co.in

    10. i was told on tele that someone was calling up my number and there was no response thereby i am giving you other contact numbers

    Hello,

    We are receiving many complaint against indiatimes.com and no. of visitors mentioned the same problem i.e. substandard product.

    In India E-commerce is growing and people are showing their faith and interest in it, but if such a big company do such type of business practice then it may also discourage others, not to shop from any website.
    Dear Mr. Sushant, if the customer care of indiatimes is not solving the issue then send a written notice to the CMD of the parent company via registered post. Mention all the details in it and attach all the copy of mails and bill, and ask them for the refund with damages + 12% rate of interest with in the mentioned time of 15-20 days. Sending notice to the CMD of the parent company helps you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Booked order of universal blue tooth devise on 8/8/09 vide order no.111789774 on Indiatimesshopping.com
    Universal Stereo Bluetooth Stylus Headset < Bluetooth Headsets & Hands Free < Mobile Accessories< Mobile & Accessories < Shopping
    paid via CC and prodoct deliverd on 13/8/09.The product had no features as explained on the website and susiquent complaints escalated to Ms. Meenu Bhatia on mail n on ph continued while the product returned and acknowledged by the co as per process after 12 days.
    On making noise the product with some incomaptable additional useless devise sent again making total mockery of the system.The new product returned once again by us on 30 sept 09 vide TNT courier no 110 569 196 WW but has been entirely ignored since.The hepline ph no changes every few days n average waiting time is 30 mints but inspite of that spoke to Mr.Ankush twice with assurance of solution within 24 hrs vide complaint no 1327 and mail sent to concerned manager and participenets like Ms.Meenu Bhatia marked to customercare@indiatimes.co.in remain unacknowledged and no reply of any kind on mail ever recieved.The defective over-specified misleading product continues to be still posted on site and cheating going on unchallenged.(Today only the productv has been pulled off the site).
    The money paid is still with vendor with no product yet delivered and none of the complints still entertained till date.

    hello sir,

    i have again sent a mail to them,,i also spoke to their office yesterday..after which i was told that i would recieve a call within 24 hours...which i know from my past experience will not come...Can u give me their official address so that i can send them a registered post..also advice me further on this aspect ..
