We are receiving many complaint against indiatimes.com and no. of visitors mentioned the same problem i.e. substandard product.
In India E-commerce is growing and people are showing their faith and interest in it, but if such a big company do such type of business practice then it may also discourage others, not to shop from any website.
Dear Mr. Sushant, if the customer care of indiatimes is not solving the issue then send a written notice to the CMD of the parent company via registered post. Mention all the details in it and attach all the copy of mails and bill, and ask them for the refund with damages + 12% rate of interest with in the mentioned time of 15-20 days. Sending notice to the CMD of the parent company helps you if you need to knock the consumer forum.
