The following was ordered as a replacement for another order that was not received by the recipient. I was given a gift card which I used for this purchase. I made sure I did not go with the same merchant but the same thing happened again.
The new order got shipped (apparently from the status below) through the same courier TNT who does not have any record of the item.

I sent several e-mails to the customer service at Indiatimes Shopping but to no avail. Since I reside in US, I am going to open a complaint in Better Business Bureau Online as well to deal with them.
They cannot walk away with my money...

Will never recommend this website to anyone...its fraud!

as a showpiece, like a taj mahal, the old indian tradition, as monument for their bigness in their great country or abroad. (may be after six hundred years, someone may remember ( could be an australian considering earth is moving in diff. directions nowadays due to heavy changes in many of its aspects) ( they may argue against that also. because they and their company invented everything on the earth since the earth was born) them as the people who revolutionized internet shopping in great india six hundred years ago in 19** ( i dont know which years exactly they started operation) instead of mugal india as said of taj mahal in 1660s) my only worry if i only knew if i could happen to meet the direct descendants of mugal india to ask what was the experience like of building taj mahal now enjoyed by millions of people world over and how they see it now. they a**holes, they are running the wrong road, at least be reasonable if not responsible when some total stranger approaches yelling at them, or they have plan for that also. gurus of india. adjustments work when i am their cousin but not with strangers.

sometime its better for they to learn from their own histories. than to dig up other peoples history.

they do not show attitude when someone is at their mercy, and their site is a perfect example how they do that. and cool words do not translate a** holism in to an acceptable way of conducting business.

above all, i thank they once again for one thing, for proving, each experience the kind happened, india is a great country after all people like they still to get to exist. they may not know what i mean. the above is for ruining my mental health even if its for a day or two (browsing is a hard experience. false promises by websites involved with providing excellence award and so on, even harder). not just for taking money and keeping it for 10 days in their kitty and yelling at me cancel cancel.

NB. there are now int'l emergency delivery within 14 days in some sites. i need the books, even if it means they make the writer write it an extra copy. they take orders, then they meet things that come along. we are not buying vegetables.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have taken a Canon 10Mega Pixel Digital camera from Indiatimes on 20th APR 2009
and that has been found as a DEFECTED one so I have returned to them for REPLACEMENT
but after 10 days that has been came back to me as it is (without
repair/replacement), then by talking with Indiatimes customer care I have sent that
product again on 12 Sept 2009 for REPLACEMENT.

Indiatimes informed me that is CANCELLED for a REFUND. Since that date I have
communicated many times with STD calls and I have CANCELLED that product. As per the
customer services the Merchant has also approved that product to be CANCELLED for
REFUND.

I have not yet received the REFUND and whenever I tried to communicate them they
always says that it will be done by 1/2 working days to get the REFUND.

I am just harassed with indiatimes shopping. Customer service of Indiatines is
extremely poor.
Please help me and advise how can I get the REFUND.

These people are entirely frauds. I had ordered for a E phone but later come to know that these phones dont have a unique identification number.
I would stronly urge others not to repeat this mistake.

Hi,
The website advertised that if they order rakhi now, they will deliver beofer rakhi date. Aftre i order 2 of the items never got delivered. THe indiatimes says it is fault of the Aramex courier service, and the customer service guys are very arrogant. Never buy with indaitimes again.

I have placed an oreder and immeadiately made a successfuly payment, I have received an email saying my order has been cancelled due to non servicable area! How can you explain that your system cannot identify the service area till make a succefull transaction (having money in you account)?
It is more than two week, till now my not yet refunded! Millions rupees you should have been using these type of fraud.
No one bothered to answer properly.
