I thought of ordering rakhi puja thali from shopping.indiatimes.com and I ordered on 27th of July.
It was written on site that if any customer orders rakhi on 27th of July till 4PM they will deliver order on or before rakhi day. i.e. 2nd August. So I ordered 3 items to different shipping address. After seeing that it will be delivered on rakhi day I booked orders and after booking I got information on screen saying it will be delivered on 3rd August. So this is the starting of making fool as they told it will be delivered on 2nd August.


1) Order No. 3001317557 and 3001317794- As they mentioned it will be delivered on 2nd August but till today i.e. on 6th August they have not yet shipped the product. And when I called customer care on rakhi day i.e. 2nd August at around 9 AM in morning they informed me that it will be delivered by 10 AM. I again called after 10 they told that it will be delivered on 3PM. After 3PM i again called they told 5PM. After 5 i again called and they told till 7 PM. This way they tried fooling me a lot. This all happened on rakhi day. When i called today i.e. 6th August, support guy is telling me we have not yet shipped the product. I want to know if the product was not yet shipped why these people tried fooling me on day of rakhi when i called them 4 times?


2) Order No. 3001317546 - I ordered rakhi and the order no. was 3001317546. Within 10 mins I called customer care and raised cancellation request for the same order no. they gave me cancellation request as 334884. within 2-3 days i got message that they have shipped this order. I called customer care again and asked them it was cancelled why you have shipped. They gave me reason telling they called me many times but i did not pick up the call. Yes they called me twice and i was driving. So i mailed them saying i was driving u can call me now. No response then. And this ordered got delivered.


The one which i cancelled got delivered and other two which were supposed to be delivered are not yet shipped. Very bad experience with indiatimes.com. One should never trust them and there customer care.


Today i called them and asked to cancelled the orders as they have not delivered on time and return me my money back. When i asked for cancellation request no. they did not provide me. I dont know why? Is it that they do not want to return me my money?


Customer support guys to whom i talked till now - deepak khandelwal, deepak gupta, nitesh, saurabh/saurav, abhishek.


I was very much embarrassed that my rakhi did not reach my brother this year all because of you people. You people spoiled one sister's rakshabandhan.


Please return me my money back.
