Legalnotice 1 : Non delivery of Product & Harassment
Order No: r#10285370 Non delivery
The above order for a Nikon Coolpix P510 16MP Digital Camerawas placed on July 9th. An immediate online payment was made. Till today I havenot received delivery of the product despite being told by both representativesof your customer care that it would be delivered
before July 29th 2012.
second on July 31st 2012.
Neither ofwhich has happened.
Timeline ofHarassment - Deliberate Delay of processing Delivery.
At first myorder was marked as pending. As I got suspicious I called up customercare andwas told that payment had not been made, despite it being an online immediatetransaction.
Further Ihad received both an sms & a confirmation email.
I opened acomplaint Ticket #31290 and got an email response on July 12th thatpayment had been received and the stipulated product would be sent shortly. When I kept getting the status - awaiting shipment, I called upcustomercare, I was told that it would be shipped shortly and would arrivebefore July 29th
Further onmy complaint ticket, I was told that I would receive the order in thestipulated period.
As I hadnot received the product, I called up on July 30th and I was told that mycomplaint had been escalated and sent to the senior people concerned. I wouldreceive the product the next day and that an email of shipment details would besent to me. This did not happen. I called on July 31st and instead of giving meinformation several times the customercare put the phone down on me.
Today onAugust 1st, I again called up customercare - again the phone was put downon me.
Finally Ispoke to a Mr Akram who could give me no information and was neither interestedin resolving the issue.
Afterseveral unsuccessful attempts, I got through to Ms Himani.
She wasshocked that I had received no email and no follow up on my complaint.
She saidthe complaint had been escalated but could give me no information on
1. Why thedelivery had not been made
2. When thedelivery would be made
3. Whydespite several complaints no follow up was done.
This iswhat customercare helplines and online accounts-complaint tickets are for.
This is agrave matter and an act of fraud for a company that advertises itself as havingthe best customerservice actually has a policy of customer harassment.
I hadordered the product on the basis of this and that it would be delivered within21 days.
Further theproduct is easily available in the market so it is a mystery why there is adeliberate non delivery of the product.
There istherefore a breach of contract at several levels.
As aprofessional photographer, on a senior fellowship with the Ministry of Culturemy work has seriously suffered.
I thereforeurge you to make
1.Immediate delivery of the product
2. adequatecompensation for breach of contract, time lost and harassment
