Dear Sir,
I had purchased a Universal Remote through Indiatimes Shopping on 8th Sept. I received the product on 17th Sept and it was not the same as I had ordered. Moreover this one looked old and was not in working condition. I immediately informed Indiatimes customer care and they told me to send it back through TNT. I did the needful and sent a mail to customer care with the AWB number and till date I have not received any response from them. Whenever I call up their customercare numbers I get a recorded message and no one responds. Even the mails sent to them are not answered.
I am at my wits' end and do not know what to do next. Please advise as to what action to take. I have attached my correspondence with them for your kind perusal.
Thanks & Regards,
Kiran Rao

This is to all the people facing similar problems with online shopping.
I also had a problem with my purchase though the amount involved was not much. However it was the service provided which made me fight with them tooth and nail. First of all there was no response to the numerous emails sent to the customer support nor was the telephone being answered. I finally managed to get someone on the phone and explained about my problem. I was told to send the product back through TNT at their cost. Even after 10 days of sending I got no response. In the meanwhile I was sending them emails every other day and I was marking a copy to the consumer court. The admin from Consumer court suggested I put everything in writing and send it by registered post to the MD of Indiatimes shopping. Anyway before I could take that step I got a reply stating that my sale is returned and the amount would be credited to my credit card account.
