    Default Compensation from PVR Cinemas

    I had attempted to book 2 tickets for a Movie in PVR Cienmas, Mulund through their Mobile application costing 330INR. During the booking process, upon feeding in my credit card details and submitting to confirm the booking, it showed me a error stating the transaction failed due to technical difficulties. However, upon cross checking with my credit card company, i'm being told that i did have a hold of 330INR by PVR Cinemas and they would keep this hold of my money for 21 business days, for PVR to clain the money, or else the hold will be dropped off my credit card. i contacted their Customer service number at 01244708080 and was hold for 55 minutes for being hung up on without having a conversation with them. I immediately went to their ticketing location in Mulund and i spoke with their Manager whose name was Amit K. I explained him the situationnad he didn't have an ounce of courtesy to apologize. Instead, he tells me that they didn't have the tickets for me and i'd have to purchase fresh new tickets from their counter, should i want to watch the movie and i need to contact their customer service for the refund. I told him about being on hold with their customer service for more than 50 minutes and being hung up on, he didn't any solution but to say my problem could not be resolved by him. Eventually, i ended up paying for another tickets at the counter. This whole incident had occured around 2 weeks ago from today. Today, i received my credit card statement and to my surprise, PVR cinemas had claimed the money from my credit card company and i've been billed for it on my statement. I again called their customer service and fortunately, to my grace i spoke a young lady named Jennifer who informed they had opened a case against this and my money will be credited back in 7 business days. I'm complaining because i need compensation for all this from PVR Cinemas. Booking the tickets they charge 15INR each ticket as convenience charge. I ask them, What sort of convenience is this...giving a run around to their customer!!!

    I need refund for the phone charges, for calling their customer service number and being on hold for more than 50 minutes for no conversation. I was undergoing a dental treatment during that time and i was advised by my doctor not to use my jaw as much as possible but, because of PVR Cinemas i'd so much of stress. Besides, since the amount has already reflected my credit card statement it has been added up to my yearly interest. I want PVR cinemas to accept their fault and refund me for their tickets and also compensate me for it.

    Thumbs down PVR Money refund not recieved

    I had tried booking 2 tickets on 24th Dec 2009, it failed 5times and each time money was deducted from my account.
    i had tried 3 times with credit card & 2 times with debit card online account.
    PVR cinemas has not even responded to my mail yet.

    Thumbs down Compensation PVR cinemas

    I booked two tickets of "Three Idiots" on 24 Dec 2009 at PVR Priya, Delhi. The transaction got failed stating the the money will be refunded within 48 hours. It has been more than two weeks but I still don't see any respective credit in my bank account.

    I already sent mail to pvrsupport@pvrcinemas.com with the screenshot of my bank statement with a couple of followup mails too but still they are ignoring my mails.I also called on their Customer care but I was put on hold for more than 40 Mins, is this the kind of service they are expected to give?? They take a couple of seconds to debit your bank account in-spite of being a failed transaction but when it comes to refunds they don't hear to the consumers by any mode.

    I already lost much of my time and energy in following up for my money, I hope this is the right platform to get the compensation/refunds

    Thumbs down PVR is not refunding the wrong charges

    I have booked 3 tickets for PVR Mahagun ,Vaishali, Ghaziabad on 11th October 2010.

    Here are the reference details:

    CCA101008936-Avenues India Ltd/Reference # 1011130812/dated 11 Oct 2010.

    I had booked the tickets through HDFC Net Banking gateway. An amount of Rs. 345/- was deducted from my bank. It was confirmed that the tickets were not booked and the amount would be refunded to my bank, even on 3rd day I don’t see any credit in my bank.

    Angry Wrong Debit

    I had booked 2 tickets for PVR -Oberoi, Mumbai on 20th April'2012.

    Here are the reference details:

    Bank reference no :-0004105440 (kotak Mahindra)

    I had booked the tickets through KOTAK Net Banking gateway. An amount of Rs. 500/- was deducted from my bank. It was confirmed that the tickets were not booked and the amount would be refunded to my bank, even on 5th day I don’t see any credit in my bank. Their customer service support, never answers the call. Pathetic service offered.

    Dear Bharat,

    In cases of tickets not booked, merchant does take few days to refund the amount back to customer's a/c, we trust the amount has already been credited to your account, please check.

    I booked 2 tickets for a show in PVR-Phoenix by using my ATM cum Debit card on 6th May.They wrongly eneterd the amount as 5600.I saw it and immediately asked them to refund the money to my account. After 4 days the money has still not been credited. They do not respond on their customer care numbers either.I am contemplating filing a criminal complaint of cheating alongwith a complaint in customer care forum.
