    Default Problem With a selller on EBAY

    I just happened to go through your site & Was really releaved to know that there is some place where i can go for help.
    I had bought a product on EBAY (a necklace of a perticular specification) for rs 9000. the seller sent
    the item but of totally wrong specifications.... When i brought this to his notice he told me to send it
    back & avail of a FULL refund. I did just that. I sent the necklace back to him the same day. Now since then there has been NO news of him. he is NOT replying to my mails NOT taking my calls or any thing. I am very very upset about the whole thing especially considering the fact that i have just lost
    my job & not 9000 rupees. & i am not the only one.... there are a whole lot of other ppl who have filed a
    complaint against the same man but he is still selling stuff freely on EBAY
    Is there any thing you can do??? If yes, let me know the documents you need from my side. I REALLY HOPE & PRAY TO GOD THAT YOU CAN HELP ME.

    There have been warnings put on this Board that India is still not ripe for online purchases. There are enough crooks to make fast buck and run away. If you still do online purchase, you do at your own risk and there is hardly any fast mechanism to redress your grievances.

    I dont want you folks to misunderstand me as a person who is advocating eBay,but we as consumers need to understand this:
    When you buy things from portals rediff or indiatimes, they r the sellers themselves unlike ebay ...
    Rediff or Indiatimes SELL products online, whereas ebay provides a platform, an online marketplace for sellers to sell. eBay is entirely a community driven site.
    Just like in the real world, if a seller is at fault, the marketplace / shopping mall is not. (Case in point is the porn clip of that DPS girl being sold on ebay - where the CEO was arrested and later released)
    I have been buying things online (books, toys, electronic items - from ebay / rediff as well) and fortunately I have had no issues. And as for risk, it exists anyways even if you buy things off the shelf.

    Dear Sir,

    I to had the same expirience. I ordered for 2 caller id phones through ebay through buy now cost. As per the order i got 2 phones where as one was faulty and was not working, i send a message via ebay asking for a replacement and the seller replied to me asking me to send the faulty one & upon receiving the
    faulty he said he will send the new one. after several phone calls and emails through ebay messages etc i couldnt get any reply or answer from the seller and at last, i decided & gave a negative rating for which i got a reply saying that the phone is not available thats where it got delayed and he asked me to revoke
    the same so that he can send the replacement for which i replied to him" i will do that subject to getting the item. I didnt got any reply after this and after several followups i was fed up and made for a claim and after several days I got a reply from EBAY saying that this claim is not valid as this total amount is
    not to the min value of $25? though i got it in indian rupee.
    Find below the reply from the EBAY Claim administrator... I am really fed up with the claim i really dont want to get any money but want to spread the awareness

    Default no refund from ebay seller

    Is consumer court doing anything about these complaints? I don't see anything here... I do have similar problem from a seller on ebay who says he has initiated the refund process but ebay customer support denies any such information from seller which means the seller is just lying and not willing to refund. Can something be done against the seller?

    Before giving any guidance we need the proper contact details of both seller and buyer, full product details, full bill details and the problem with product or services.

    And Even I can Protest For Your Company On Local Streets Also,
    No Organization Can Win By Just Good with Buyers and Not Good With Sellers or Vendors

    I am So Frustated With Your Company I Like Beating My Self

    The Case Is With Me is

    One of My Buyer Purcahsed The Rajdoot GTS Motorcycle (As Spare Part With Me) He Paid me the Payment, I Despatched the Item, He Recieve The ITEM

    And After a Week I Am Getting Message From Ebay That My Account Had Been Suspended and Now The Payment Will be Refunded to the Buyer. So That Mean Either I am The Foolish Person or the CEO of the EBAY is FOOLISH Person For this Kind of Rubbish Policy

    This is Clear That Even After The Buyer Recieve the ITEM Payment Will Be Refunded

    Why???? IS Am I Fool, 13500 Matter LOT For Me, Might Not Be For Your Company

    And Your All Customer Care Executive Are the Most Illterate Person in The World

    So Now You Think Your Self that How Big The Problem Become For Me Now Even I Dont have Any Guranteed That Buyer Will Pay or Not He Had Recieve the Payment

    So I Hope the Senior Managers or C.E.Os of Company Will Listen My Complaint and Some Can Be Done

    BUT NOW FOR PLEASE DONT REPLY THAT U HAVE VIOLATED OUR POLICY WE CANT ASSIGNED REASON, TRY TO ANALYZED THE SITUATION IF U HAVE DONE MBA OR U HOLD GOOD IN BUSSINESS

    Angry fraud by seller on ebay

    i purchased a pixel view tv tuner card on 30-4-2011 and recieved the same on 4may 2011 but was delivered in a physicaly damaged condition one of the small component was seperated from tv tuner card . . .i immediatly contacted to seller Many more shoppe contact person rahul 9960497500 he asked for snapshots i snt it by mail and very next day i couriored it back to seller as he said he wil replace it. . .bt for about one month there were no response so i contacted again firstly he was disconecting calls bt due cöntinuos cals he picked up the call and said he has not recieved courier and asked for courier details i checked and found tht the courier reached there on 7 may and was properly collected . . .i sent the same details to him bt now he is not responding. . .not picking my cals no reply now i feel cheated since more than a month passed and no refund or replacement. . . Plz help me to get rid of this cheater. He harrased me mentaly. . .plz hlp
