    Unhappy naaptol made delayed delivery of a damaged (rejected) product

    Respected concerned,

    I had ordered for a VOX mini refrigerator at naaptol on 08-06-2012, with the payment being made in advance via credit card (Order ID: 4152294). Twenty days later, after inquiring with the customer care (09223516148) repeatedly, I got the product delivered at my place on 28-06-2012. Unfortunately, the product was a damaged peice. The door knob of the product was broken. Even a sticker labeling "REJECTED" was found on the product, and the kind of damage was also specified :-o . When I called the customer care regarding this, the support representative told me to ship it back to their ware house at Delhi for replacement, at my postal expenses, though I have already paid the amount for the product including the shipping expenditure.



    The delivery of a damaged product (in fact, a rejected piece) is a mistake from naaptol. It is not right on their part to make the customer bear the expenses for their fault (actually, negligence). So, I request the concerned to address the caused inconvenience with immediate attention. I expect naaptol to hold the entire responsibility for the caused inconvenience, and get the product either replaced (not at my expenses!) or refund the full amount. I am also attaching a few snap-shots of the instance.

    Dear Customer,

    We are sorry to note that the item that you have purchased through the order no-4152294 & you have received damage/defective product.This is a very rare and unfortunate case and we apologize for the same.

    As per our telephonic conversation, request you to kindly send the item back to our warehouse within 7 working days mentioning the order number on the packet.
    * Items are to be returned with all accessories and original packaging.
    * Careful attention is to be given with the packing of the product to avoid damage during transit.

    Kindly do note- the above two points are to be strictly adhered to so that we may process with a refund.
    We would request you visit your nearest courier office and send the whole product to the below mentioned address:

    Khasra no.386,
    Gail no.2, A Block,
    Mahipalpur Ext.,
    New delhi-110037.
    Land Mark-Near Jet alines office

    On the back cover of packing request you to add your name and complete address, along with Naaptol order no [4152294] and your mobile/ landline no for easy identification and further processing.

    Please put the copy of print label/ invoice/delivery challan received by you (copy) inside the box along with a note stating the details of defect.

    Kindly write back to us at contact@naaptol.com or call us at 09223516148 & help us with the awb# & cheque favoring name.

    It would take 4 to 5 days for the product to reach us, & post that we would send you the refund cheque in 12 to 15 working days.

    Request your patience in the interim.

    one of the worst online shopping company, not even ready to speak wit the customer for their complaints ,usless customer care exe they dont know how to respond to their customers,,, im really cheated by this company and learnt a lesson from them...... i have bought a 2 seater air sofa from them its a damaged piece they have commited me that they il do door step service at any time required but the responce is not even 1 %.. i have bought this in march 12 ,, till now im not using it ... ...thanks a lot naaptol

    Angry The worst of the service, no concern at all.

    With reference to order no. 4152294, I had lodged a complaint of damaged product delivery. The support had assured me of complete refund for the product (I sought for refund/replacement. Naaptol support had suggested the refund as evident from the previous mails). Accordingly, I had sent the product back on 10/07/2012 via Blue-Dart courier service (reference number: 60136295262). The courier charge of Rs. 800 was expended by me.


    On 06/08/2012, I had received a replacement product from naaptol. Again, another damaged piece, but not as severely damaged as the earlier one. This time, the door knob has a crack on it. So, I request naaptol to kindly make the necessary arrangements to refund my amount (this is what naaptol had assured!). Naaptol told they would replace, if would send it back to them again. This would cost me another 800 bucks, which costs me a total of Rs. 1600 for mere courier charges. I don't think it is wise to spend 50% of the amount of the product price to get back the rest. I shall send the product back only after I get the full refund back, including courier expenses (from past experiences with naaptol). If they are not ready to sort out the things, I am going to lodge a complaint against naaptol in consumer court. It has been observed that, when they reply to this mail, naaptol mentions nothing about refunding the courier expenses, which I would like to call as a 'CHEAT'.
